Whitebone Armour Bug
The armour in the screenshot below says it confers 10 DR to blunt damage and the combat log supports this by saying the damage is being resisted, but the character still takes full damage. This has been tested with a club in game.

Re: Whitebone Armour Bug
Sorry, it's blackboxed issue. No physical DR actually works. Thus, not dr 5 against piercing etc will ever work even though it posts things into combat log.
The only DR that works is something like dr 5/- or dr 5/piercing (which means 5 dr against everything except piercing).

Re: Whitebone Armour Bug
Could the item be adjusted to the DR 5 etc so it does work or is that not possible?

Re: Whitebone Armour Bug
I've seen some items with DR X/slashing/piercing or something like that. I wonder if those would still count as bugged...

Please advise me if it's a shop item. If it is, i will ask devs to consider changing the DR type.ValerieJean wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 7:16 am Could the item be adjusted to the DR 5 etc so it does work or is that not possible?

Re: Whitebone Armour Bug
Not sure, i guess that needs extra testing. Basically, the dr against all types except one type should work find since half the server mobs have it and it works

Yes, because RIG is a way more complicated matter AFAIK, so if it's shop item, it's just about changing blueprint and then updating shop blueprintDaloLorn wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 12:57 pm... Oh, you mean a toolkit item. Yeah, this isn't a RIG property, a RIG name, or probably a RIG description. Someone handcrafted it with that thing.

Re: Whitebone Armour Bug
I am mostly certain it is in the Special Shop (Shoomar) but I will double check here in a moment.
Edit: It seems I was wrong, I have seen it before but maybe it was a RIG item that was tailored? So far no luck on shops in the wide.

Re: Whitebone Armour Bug
It's not a shop item that I know of, but it is a toolkit item (which is what EC was really asking about). With the exception of adamantine armor, damage resistance is not a RIG property.ValerieJean wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 3:24 pm I am mostly certain it is in the Special Shop (Shoomar) but I will double check here in a moment.

Reported to Dev team, once any conclusion about it is made, i will inform you so you can approach a DM with changing it's properties in the same way as blueprint will be changed.

Re: Whitebone Armour Bug
Has there been any news? I reckon giving it 50% immunity to blunt would be fair.
