Dwarven Armor options have expanded significantly over the last 12 months, and yet nearly every (not all) option makes a Dwarf look like a 600 lbs competitive beer drinker. I recall reading a post on the forums (within the last ~12 months) in reference to expanding Dwarven Armor options. Unfortunately, I can't find the post.
Does anyone have any insights they can share? Currently, my Dwarven Defender is running around in the basic default breastplate model because it's one of a few models that represent a waist smaller than his chest. Candidly, this is first-world-problem stuff... and yet I appreciate any feedback anyone has.

Cheers!

Dey dunna be a callin' em Stouts fer nothin'!!!
///sorry...just couldn't resist.
Stout is very appropriate! Somewhere along the way though stout became synonymous with obese, 600 pounders with a beer belly larger than their chest.
The Dwarf Race for D&D:
Bold and hardy, dwarves are known as skilled warriors, miners, and workers of stone and metal. Though they stand well under 5 feet tall, dwarves are so broad and compact that they can weigh as much as a human standing nearly two feet taller. Their courage and endurance are also easily a match for any of the larger folk. source: https://www.dndbeyond.com/races/dwarf#ShortandStout
I personally had some luck finding a “good” armor appearance by switching to another armor type and selecting from the options, and/or, choosing a custom armor from the many lists in the appearance changer.
Their ARE some super skinny armor models that if possible to fit the Dwarven skeleton—I don’t know if they do…—you’d definitely get closer to a “needs to drink more ale…” waistline!

Dwarves have a similar “skeleton” problem as the Halforc does. Where you can’t just swap models from one race to the other.
The Media Team knows of this but as with Volunteers they are working on this at their time I was told.

Yes! This is actually very encouraging. I muled a piece of fullplate with a Will Save bonus to a Dwarf I made... The armor model wasn't the same as it originally was, but the full plate model on my Dwarf fit and looked great. Unfortunately, I swapped out the armor over time and was never able to repeat the effect.
For the short term, you might want to have a look at the old Appearance Changer, just open it by clicking on the 'NWN Eye' logog on the lower left corner of the screen, or game window, and choose 'Change Appearance' -- then start cycling through the appearances for something you like. It is adviced that you remove the belt your character might be wearing when you do this, because some of these armors have 'belt appearances' attached to them, which often temporarily bugs out if your character is wearing an actual belt item. When you find an armor you like, with or without belt attachment, you can use the Appearance kit to adjust it to your liking.
If you are offended by what I said have said above, I have recieved my last warning, I have discussed Intuitive Attack, so report - for I do not mind. Getting me banned is nothing special, it happens every week. But you could also choose not to be offended, this place needs more banter, your choice.
