Years had passed. Ships arrived and ships departed. The Captain herself had left the shore, And the ownership and nature of the DragonWing had shifted with it's title. But as sailors almost always do, the Captain eventually returned to her homeport, ready to commission the DragonWing II and resume life along the traderoute. Quickly assembling the best crew one could find in the Gate she ventured forth to seek out a Shipwright with the knowledge and talent to craft their new vessel.
A Courier accompanied by two guards branded with a Blackrose upon their ensemble would make their way down to the docks and ask around for a Captain Asher. Upon finding her location, they would approach her to deliver a scroll sealed in candle wax and unbroken, after which they would leave word where a reply could be sent before heading off.

The Captain had been standing further down the docks. Nearly ebon strands lightly whipped about her visage beneath the tricorn's brim with the sea breeze. Her eyes were hard focused on the sea, or perhaps the horizon, until the presence of the two were known. Turning her attention to him she nodded to the pair. Thanking them for the scroll she waited until the departed to turn her attention to the letter scripted within.
Delayed as her response may have been, she had not disregarded the message.. Taking it once she was free to do so, to her fellow Officers for discussion
((Apologies for the late response. Work/life has been insanely hectic of late))
Activity bustles in the past number of tendays. Both vague and some more detailed rumors flow along the nearby regions of Baldur's Gate speak about an upcoming ship, crew growing slowly, and other plans to get themselves started.
After years of trying to give others a chance to prove to me they can shape up here, I have run out of patience. The numbers of nwn2 overall dropping in the past few years have told me the path others truly want to take. Actions speak louder than words.
Letters from various organizations have begun to reach the Captain.
Multiple offers of partnerships and requests for meetings are now piled on her desk.
Seated there before, working on her plans for the interior of the vessel, she pauses long
enough to pull the scripted missives and offers before her.
She'd already discussed each with her Officers, however decisions had yet to be reached.
Pondering over each in kind, she pulls one closer than the others. Her brows drawing inward
as she reread the page. With a click of her tongue she resolved to seek out the individual who
had sent it, and weigh the interest in the crew for herself.
In a small private Inn and tavern, tucked far away from the hustle of the major cities,
the Captain and her other half speak quietly of business at hand, while enjoying the
peace of the hidden treasure that offered privacy above all else...
As they spoke, he made an offer, asking if anything beyond what they had already discussed
needed to be tended to. After his offer and following suggestion regarding the Ship's Code of
Conduct, the Captain advised that he move forward with setting thought to paper, as it was
time to draft such and put expectation to parchment.
Word has begun to spread that the crew has chosen a new name for the new vessel.
Instead of naming her the DragonWing II after the Captain's beloved former ship,
she will have her own name.. She will be called.. Leviathan's Blush
The Captain and Kevlimar are said to have been seen making travel preparations
for a 2 day cruise. Where they are headed is anyone's guess, but is said that
she has made it known that the Quartermaster will be in charge in their absence
