I think maybe you are casting decurse on the item itself rather than on the player?

It's not a bug - it's a feature.
That's called an intermittent curse and it activates on equip if you fail the roll. Once you've beaten the save roll you can unequip the item again.

However, using a remove curse, usually works fine with these type of curses.

Once unequipped remove curse should work.


Some people said, that sometimes the cursed item needs to be placed into the first inventory slot. (Never had that issue myself, but got a lot of curses over the time.)

So far, after picking the .bic file, we weren't able to see any cursed items on your PC.
If that happens again, please contact us before using any way you've used so we could investigate it from technical side of things.

For now, i will close this, but if it ever happens again, please inform us.

Just to clarify: we picked the .bic the same day it was reported, i was just late on writing this reply. I totally didn't expect you to have that cursed item on you for that long
