Early life: Nigel was born to a Human, Archibald Blaquehawke a Calvary Officer in the Purple Dragons of Comyr and an Elanor Melina an Elven Sorceress and Arcane Archer. Living in a human city meant that his mother spent a lot of time making sure her son was well versed in elven culture and knowledge. At a time it was suspected that Nigel would grow up a bard. His father would tell him tales from the great battles and adventures of the Purple Dragons. Instilling in Nigel absence of duty to Kingdom and King. Nigel had a loving and supportive childhood from his parents a bit shielded from some point of view. But a happy and loving early life.

Teenage Years: Being on of the few Half Elves in Eveningstar was the kind of attention that an awkward young Nigel Blaquehawke sought to avoid. So he spent his time growing out his hair to hide his elongated ear and take on a lot of his father’s speech mannerisms to try to seem more human than elf. Nigel’s keen elven eye and dexterous nature did make him great at youth archery competitions. Where he excelled. Once he was of proper age age. Nigel with the permissions and blessings of his loving parents did as many healthy Comyrian Youth and tried out for the Purple Dragons of Comyr. At this time a young Nigel was sporting a short cropped hairstyle and a mustache to highlight his human bloodlines.

Service: Royal Scouts, Purple Dragons of Comyr 1317-1355

Nigel enlisted into the Purple Dragons at 17. After initial training his skills in archery and his keen eye got him a spot in the scout section. His half even low light vision and his training into arcane archery with his mother landed him an apprenticeship under one of Rangers in the Royal Scout section. At this time like most Comyrians Nigel worshiped Lathander like some Comyrians. He spent his 38 year enlistment mostly in the Eveningstar Barracks and most of his patrols and operations where against undead in the Haunted Halls and Orcs and Brigands in the region.

With his promotion to Warden in the Radiant Heart Vigilant Company, Nigel spends his time split between the Charter House at Baldur’s Gate and Radiant Crossing a Radiant Heart outpost on the River Chonthair.

Nigel prefers to man the Look out point on the South Gate on the Bridge’s Gate House. He is also rumored to have stashed a few jugs of mead along the banks and battlements of Radiant Crossing. You know for emergencies.

Goals: Nigel seeks to be made Sergeant at Arms of the Baldur’s Gate Charter of the Order of the Radiant Heart.
