Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

In Lyran's Hold, whenever Verona "The OP Invincible Bardess" Kobos casts her initial salvo of spells, the lootable chests in the area immediately alert to a breaking sound and then signal that items in the chest are broken.

It's disheartening to find chests full of broken items if... IF you are fortunate enough to beat her.

*footnote: By "you" I mean you and a small army.

Often a wand use of silence just at the corner before perceiving her works for me. Subsequent silence wand use typically succeeds killing her.
