Moduleres XML

As the automated updater is ironed out, can the updater delete any instance of a moduleres XML in the staged output directory at start, then supply the latest up to date one there? It doesn't have to be part of the distributed files, just deleted during update, then supplied at the end of the update.
This would enable an out of game update tool (source and binaries on github) to function outside of the game itself. The missing XML would be the indicator that the PW is undergoing an update and suppress client update attempts, when the XML is present again in the www/staged directory the client tools, when querying the game servers and seeing them turn on, would then update independently of NWN2 running.
