His gruff exterior hiding his inner kindness. Grune loves animals of all kinds, Birds hold a special place in his heart. He is quick to anger but as quick to calm down. He enjoys the finer things in life such as art ,books & painting though he has not held a paint brush since his teen years he sometimes draws a bird if he can get hold of some coal and parchment.

Background:
Grune sired during a raid on a traveling troupe his mother still came to love him dearly. Traveling with his mothers troupe he lived well enough though shunned by most humans he came to spend most of his time hiding in the carriage or playing in some woods til he was old enough to be of help during the performances and between. As he was eighteen winters old his mother passed away in sickness. He raged at the world and was quickly cast out by his mothers troupe. He took up arms as a mercenary soon enough providing security for caravans. At the age of 24 the caravan he was protecting was assaulted by his fathers warband. In the heat of the battle he slew his father. His uncle beat him unconcious mere moments after, when he woke up amidst the burning caravan he was alive with his fathers armor at his feet.His right eye mustve taken a hit during the scuffle as it was now bloodshot. In a fit of rage he swore vengeance cursing his father and his warband for bringing him to the world neither orc nor human.
The bounty on his fathers head was paid to Grune and Grune spent it repairing his fathers armor.
Over the years Grune worked with what he could and finally ended up at baldurs gate. He still searches for remnants of his fathers warband doing what bounty hunter work he can.
