A while ago we were reached by the tragic news that someone who many knew and cared for had passed away. It was clear by the feedback to the thread how many lives she had touched.

I don't feel fit to write any kind of eulogy for her, so I will keep this short.

A painting has been created from the artwork of Tiberis79 by LivT and BloodRiot and is ready to be hung in the Halls of Inner Light, where Glowfire's character Adelaide van der Saer was once High Lady. Now it only lacks description.

Beyond Adelaide's physical appearance, I would like to infuse it with the love of those who knew her. Therefore I invite anyone who feels they would like to contribute to it in some way to write here. It could be a quote, some way Adelaide affected your character, what you liked best about her, or whatever lies closest to your heart. Nothing is too small.

Even though what Anrilor and I seek here primarily is input that can help us deepen the description for the portrait, you are naturally welcome to share something about her as a player, or another one of her characters, as well. It will remain here in her memory. And in game, Adelaide lives on.

Hello everyone.


When everything was ready for this portrait to go in the Halls of Inner Light got destroyed. It will be added as soon as possible. However, I'm no longer going to be the one to see this project through. Therefore I'd like to share what's been done.

It's a tragedy for someone to die so young. Breaks my heart to see this thread again.

I had the privilege of roleplaying a fair amount with Nomster, it was always an immense pleasure. They will be sorely missed.

It's a beautiful tribute.

I did not have the chance to interact with Glowfire as much as I would have liked but it seemed clear even from our brief interactions that she was a kind, loving person and an amazing rp’er. The stories of her characters and the impact they left behind will live on with us.
