Flickering Portraits

Across the years with different video cards and drivers sometimes certain character portraits flicker. Has anyone else noticed this... better yet, found a way to fix the issue through settings? One thing I tried the other day was toggling from full screen to desktop view and then back again. It actually helped some. Thanks
