A Squinty Elf and his Merchant - The Gate

A hooded Elf approaches the Wide, carrying a number of bundles with him. He would trudge towards a Human merchant with a wide smile despite the heavy rain. He then dumps the bundles upon his stall. Reaching into a side pouch he would draw a bag of coins, tossing them to the Merchant which widens his smile into a grin
"Sell the items for what you can... I trust your judgement on this."
The Merchant clears his throat and steps forward, before exclaiming loudly and clearly for all to hear
"COME ONE, COME ALL, FEAST YOUR EYES UPON THE ITEMS I LAY BEFORE YOU"
The Merchant would then take a deep breath and continue in a lower voice to all who approach with interest
"The Items each come with descriptions and names... if you see a cost, that is the price. If you do not... make me your best offer."
The Merchant would grin once more and step back, awaiting any offers
