I know it will get a no, but I was wondering if the paladin can get Heroism and Greater Heroism since they are the poster boy for heroism?

Nah dude paladins are too law abiding to be the true heroes.

Greater Heroism exceeds the 4th level spell casting limitation of the class. Not that this is a binary choice, but if the staff felt compelled to make an exception, I would vote for that exception to be applied to Spell Resistance instead of Greater Heroism. Personally, I would not burden a 2nd level spell slot with Heroism because the potions are too inexpensive and last a reasonable amount of time.

I opine Paladins do not need Greater Heroism to supplement their AB because of Bull's Strength and Righteous Fury stack. Conversely, I too opine Paladins do not need Greater Heroism to supplement their saves because Eagle's Splendor and Righteous Glory stack. +8 Strength and Charisma, supplemented with a Heroism Potion, is very generous and makes Paladins a mechanically superior class.
