hello !

i just died from a goblin (CR6)... im level 7 barbarian, fought 10 goblins... just for 36 XP each... lost 700 XP.

on surface it's same with my magician....

......

i love BGTSCC since firsts days, but growing is too hard.

i needed maybe 15000 XP for next lvl, (8), to be ambidextrous...

.....

36 XP per kill i just feel not ever growing. just to signal to server devs.

to resume,

im always discouraged....

no XP gain, lot of loss....

but i always return.

but im sad losing my time... since firsts days.... (((

Honestly, I sympathize with you. When I first started on the server I was playing with 2 friends, which is the only reason I was able to remain. I died a lot, I had no loot, my exp gain was basically negative from dying too much.

Now, with a tad more experience, I think the best way to go is talking to people! There are a lot of players eager to help others, try to find those! They'd likely help you with gear and information. Don't be afraid to come up to people in game and RP, introduce your character, being friendly, most will respond nicely to that. If you ever see me online on Runa Helvig, dont be afraid to message me as well, we can RP and I promise you my char is very nice!

Hello, there. Sorry, but our XP income is limited at 50 xp per kill max except for Golden named mobs which can give more.
There are not XP boosts or powerups for anyone, you will have to grow your character yourself. Just don't rush it, be cautious, try to play your PC sheet. BGTSCC is not about cutting mobs left and right, we focus on RP and character development. Plan your strategy, have your consumables. Look around cities for some quests you could do to get initial gold/xp for easier journey.

Please, have your chat with people nearby or in server discord, most players are helpful and can give you an advise, a tour or explain where to find good deal for equipment for your level. You may also want to find a group, party play is way funnier and gives nice RP opportunities (and participating in RP does also give PC experience as well).

i can see u not LIVING ALONE IN THE DARK without ..... what you call friends on surface...

trough, i should use buffs maybe... u right...

on surface, light side, my magician never thinked to find buffs in BG pub, even i sometimes sqwatt that magic empty place..... discussions (RP) in the past...

...

thats why i report that ever issue...

On the underDark Side, you can find me on Akordya, but she's not nearly as nice as my surface character

i crossed someone front of Glouria's Wing, he/she said "hello"... i could not answer coz i got handicap & so i play with gamepad... so i cant chat & im forever alone. (im not "not polite"...)

i dont care loots.. i loot and sell loots ... its not MONEY/loots pb on BGTSCC i meant.

i dunno what you say about 50 XP max per mob....

but doing 30+30 in loop and dieying coz 2 goblins, while winning 400 XP in half an hour, for losing the double 700XP in 5s is not fair.

(edit: got 15000 to do for next level... i not ask fast leveling too, im not chinese sry..)

just at lvl 5-6-7, it should be Normal and encouraging to win more like a lvl 5 mob gives 100 XP at least....

some people likes to hunt alone.

levels are hard to get like at lvl 7...

maybe it's my fault ? i hunt lvl 6 Mobs with a lvl 7, it seems normal.

(i run like a coward vs higher/stronger mobs to not die...)

so just questionning..

dunno if i should kill lvl 3 gnomes x 10000 ...
