Friendly Arm Inn - Panlos- HOLY AVENGER
Posted: Mon May 16, 2022 3:04 pm
A halfling enters through the gates of the Friendly Arm Inn, a sword wrapped in fabric over his shoulder. An easy observation and the sword is long enough to near equal the height of the Hin, and thus oddly paired are the two.
Bringing the sword to one of the more respected merchants, and one that is capable to discern or detect magic from items, Panlos places the longsword before them, and awaits a response. With some flare, the merchants discerns the value of the sword, creating a small commotion. Panlos acts with equal surprise. The merchant, attempting to gain from quick shrewdness, places a sack of coin before the Hin, hoping to make a deal. But Panlos reads in the merchant that what he has found is of more value than just coin.
Finding a spot among the merchants within the courtyard, Panlos lets it be known what he now brings to trade, within this marketplace. Panlos is immediately upfront that he is a Hin, and such a sword is not sized to his use. He needs something of a shortsword, and would trade for one of equal worth. Still, with shortswords of great worth hard to find along the Sword Coast—something Panlos is keenly aware of...—he says that should a person be able to offer him an item that would benefit one of his kind, that being a Pawfoot, a Hin that takes many forms, he would consider it.
Panlos also says he can only stay at the Friendly Arm for a bit less than a Tenday, so...the window is only open for so long, before he takes his ware and moves along.
