Suggestion: allow taunt to taunt. Ie, let it grab aggro. There's two ways I can see this being a thing.
One: Make it a feat, whose DC is based on the taunt skill. This way, it doesn't prevent those who like to debuff with taunt from doing so.
Two: Change taunt to do just taunting, and use intimidate to frighten their enemies and reduce their stats/work like taunt currently does.
I am not sure whether or not it should an AoE ability, as you'd be stepping on the toes of the MaA, however, that class should remain unchanged, as it's a class feature they get. The point is to allow others to have some matter of aggro control and generation, not to turn everyone into specialist taunters.

Re: Taunt
I support this, I think the real question is a taunt that grabs aggro even possible with NWN2's spaghetti AI code? I'd personally love to see the social skills that are basically useless on the server (due to ppl able to ignore them) be given actual uses and reasons to invest in them.

I'm looking at adding this feat:
https://dnd.arkalseif.info/feats/expand ... ill--2759/
When an enemy tries to enter or leave an area you threaten, you get an AoO where, if they fail a saving throw against a DC equal to your damage roll, the enemy is forced to stop moving for a round.

Re: Taunt
It does in other server (even forces the mobs to actually *attack* it can interrupt spellcasting). On BG, the MaA has a taunt skill that already does that.AsuraKing wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 1:09 pm I support this, I think the real question is a taunt that grabs aggro even possible with NWN2's spaghetti AI code? Doesn't do wonders when you're attacking a ranged mob or a wizard and they completely ignore you. I think a taunt mechanic would do well.Rhifox wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 1:10 pm I'm looking at adding this feat:

Re: Taunt
Grapple kind of helps with that, since you can hold them down (and then pin them to make them stop attacking at all).Bobthehero wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 2:43 pmDoesn't do wonders when you're attacking a ranged mob or a wizard and they completely ignore you. But I can also add a proper taunt with this: https://dnd.arkalseif.info/feats/miniat ... index.html
