Bards should also be able to attune instruments

There are a few instruments with spells. Bards ought to be able to attune to them. If there's a concern about people taking a splash of bard, make the feat available only after a certain point.

We discussed this briefly but the general consensus was that since Bards can already attune staves and there's no mechanics for attuning instruments in PNP there's no basis to specifically give Bards this extra "gimme" when they already have a bunch of Bard-centric special features available. I could see a case being made for all casters being able to attune such instruments. At this time there's no plan to do so, but it's something we could review again further down the line.

Instead we get instrument attunement in it's place. Most of us bards are walking around carrying instruments, we are never picking up a friggin staff.

I gotta say I completely agree with this. Never seen a bard use one but then not everyone declares what class they are.

BG doesn't always do things to PNP, although I appreciate the recent turn toward that.
