Elaborate Parry is adding Duelist levels to the AB decrease instead of the AC increase. Fix is already in, will be applied on the next reset.


*Edit* Fixed on live now, except for tooltips.

Gui Power Attack buttons are giving tooltips and effects one level lower than they should. Fixes committed. Tooltip fixes won't be in until next update, but script will be fixed on next reset.

heya,

already made a post in the regular bug forum on the theif acrobats springboard ability, please check that out, DC is calculated wrong.

i play a transmuter wizard, i usually cast greater magic weapon on my staff or a dagger, before these new updates, the enchantment from greater magic weapon would still be on the weapon once i transformed back into original shape, now it disappears.

so i have GMW on staff, shapechange to devil, rung around and tank a bit and transform back, and the GMW on weapon is gone.

hope that makes sense

The patch today should have fixed this. Please let us know if it didn't.

Working as intended, and been a thing for years now. If you were able to somehow keep your GMW on your weapon after shapeshifting on a non-druid prior to this patch, then that was a bug.

* Vanilla background feats (Wild Child, Survivor, etc) removed. Instead, players now only choose region feats at character creation. They will then receive a choice of character background after they enter the Nexus for the first time (for both new and old characters). The backgrounds offered by this function grant the character two free class skills. If one of the character's classes (now or later) grants those same class skills, the character instead receives a +2 bonus to those skills from that background. Eg, if you take the Burglar background, which grants Move Silently and Open Lock, while also taking the Rogue class, which also grants Move Silently and Open Lock, you will instead receive a +2 bonus on Move Silently and Open Lock from having the Burglar background.
There were some Background Traits that granted Save bonuses as well, like Devout, for example. Are these just gone now, and as well, those Saves bonuses?

Seems to be the case.

Activating an item while in parry mode results in using a charge then receiving the message that spells and item use is prohibited while in parry mode. This was a worn item such as Periapt proof against poison.

Ghost step and ghost walk will not activate but, correctly, do not use a charge.

If possible:
Items shouldn't lose a charge.
Abilities such as ghost step and ghost walk should work. Shadow evade seems to work.

Armor Skin/Epic Prowess aren't available as Fighter Bonus feats past the first ones.

Veteran as well, I think all those were all removed so characters that had them will lose the corresponding bonus.

This one should be a pretty quick fix, I'll take a look at it.

Character took half damage, instead of no damage, after a successful reflex check against a trap (stepped on) even though the character has Improved Evasion Feat.

Since I'm giving feedback I think the enhanced vision changes are awesome. Cool stuff all around.

Attached is a clip of the damage text next to the character's feat.

Request: Consider Tumble to not break stealth or [and possibly] incur a penalized move silently check to nearby characters or possibly tie a feat to skip the penalized roll.

Currently it breaks stealth but I don't think it's really a bug.

We can't control whether or not something breaks stealth unless that gets done through some nwnx plugin magic.

At the time of this posting, however, such a plugin does not yet exist.

Using scrolls of spells that are both arcane and divine in nature --- such as Passwall or Teleport as examples, primarily sorc/wiz spells that only specific domain clerics get --- results in my ranger printing the "nothing happens when you use the item" message and receiving an automatic failure, even if they were originally scribed by a wizard or purchased from a vendor. Strictly arcane spells like Greater Heroism work fine.

I assumed the game maybe read the fact that my character is a divine caster as the source of the spell despite it coming from an item, but asking a wizard friend to use an arcane/divine scroll had the same result. Comparatively, using these and similar spells pre-patch worked mostly fine with wild magic and UMD rolls. I had one instance yesterday of all scrolls failing with the "your divine patron isn't answering" message.

Also, the AFK tag does not want to stick and will frequently be unflipped within seconds of being toggled on.
