Visibility in UD

Unread post by JIŘÍ »

Hey

Can we have increased visibility in UD for UDers? Even with changed ultravision (was it?) all is dark and shadowy as hell and for example formorians as player i cant even spot them in distance without holding Y key.

I, for one, am person who plays with "very dark nights" on on Raveloft NwnE+, having nights pitched black, but i play an ELF who spends more time in day light and i can then enjoy the rping with lanterns.

But my drow spends all time at night or in cave where i cannot see a shitte :naughty: it is draining. Could we get it much more brighter, cleaner? and then for example if you did not have daylight feat, make the daylight blinding you reducing your visibility actually.

Hi there.
It's impossible to vary darkvision brightness per race. Making it brighter would make it look horrible for more bright areas because it's not adaptive.

I've increase formian hive and forlorn area brightness about 10 times, you will see it in next update. Given it was like 0.03 from overall possible 3.0, it won't be bright and shiny there anyway.
I hope that helps.

Thanks. One of the issues i face is that game is like five times darker in full screen than in window. How is that possible? When i am in full screen (yea i know most likely only one playing in full creens :D ) all si dark and when i window it by alt+enter it goes suddenly bright.

Try turning up your game Gamma/Brightness setting. In Windowed mode, the game uses your OS's native brightness setitng, but in fullscreen it overrides the brightness with whatever the game is set to.
I play a baker. Sometimes she provides counseling or treatment.
Ask about our Breadflower daily special to save five coppers off a purchase of five pastries.
She seems unusually interested in cursed items.
She has also been seeking a variety of gems and stones.
