Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Went to level up my character and it prompted me with choosing a deity, Torm was the Deity had, I know he is dead but I thought he would still be chooseable as Mystra is. Is this intentional? Would I be able to pick one for the moment then switch it up with the Deity changer in the nexus? Could he be added back to the List?

I don't know about the Torm situation, but divine classes cannot change their deity with the Nexus deity changer NPC (unless they changed that recently).

Torm, Bane, and Mystra are still options for non-divine classes, however due to divine classes needing a functioning god you cant make/level up a divine class with any of them hence being forced to pick a new god upon level up.

Yeah I have not taken my level because it prompts me! I was hoping there was a way around it over choosing another deity.

You could pick a new deity now, but you might be stuck with it.

Or you could wait until after the ToT, and see if Torm gets resurrected as he does in canon lore. Faiths & Avatars, page 163. If he doesn't get resurrected, I guess pick a new deity then?

I would not recommend choosing a new deity unless your previously chosen domains are legal for the one you choose, otherwise you will be locked in the Nexus and unable to enter the game world.

A fix has been rolled out so you should be able to level up without changing deities. Many apologies for the inconvenience.

Given the limitation of us being unable to remove divine class access to these gods, any clerics with dead deities should appropriately RP that they have no access to their spells or divine abilities.
