I had to reinstall NWN2, but the keys are the same. I try to connect to game.bgtscc.net, it tells me server found, attempting to log in, but after a while it says server time out. Ideas on what I could do? I logged in like this for years!

In case this happens to someone else, here's how I solved it.
For whatever reason, typing in my userid in the online login screen was useless, it was as if I was leaving it empty.
In the NWN2 installation folder is a file called nwn2player.ini
open that, and find the line where it says: "Player Name=" and put your online account ID after the =
put any password in the below space "Password=" (the server that checks that password no longer exists, any password will do)
save the .ini file
You're good to go.
