3b20 not violated but not allowed to log in
Ok so I did an RCR on my mage. I didn't try to transfer any spells just started new. I am all arcane so it can't be an issue with domains. I did 5 levels in wizard, 5ish in EK, then did three in Thaumaturge and Dragonslayer. I know for a fact I got 3 in all of the classes because I was being very careful and sweating it. The toon is 26 with 5Wiz,5Thaum,10 EK and 6 Dragonslayer. When I attempt to log in I am told I violated the 3b20 rule or that my domains are invalid. Is there something else wrong with the combo or a bug somewhere? Again, I know with 100% certainty that I did not violate the 3b20 rule.
Thanx

Can you post whether or not this issue resolves itself after a server reset?

I have tried to log in but ironically, I have run into another issue. I keep getting an error message that says bg_soz_tools,hak has been successfully downloaded but can't be verified. Then login stops.

This was due to a separate issue I caused briefly with a small update, but should be resolved now.Ibnshaitan1 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 3:43 am I have tried to log in but ironically, I have run into another issue. whatever the soz hak issues is now gone, However I can confirm the 3b20 message is still coming up. Again I am so sure that I did not violate the rule I would put money on it.

I believe you, we've had false positives with this system in the past. I just wanted to see if reset resolved the issue for this character, we're going to kick this around dev side and see if we can figure out what the problem is.Ibnshaitan1 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 3:48 am whatever the soz hak issues is now gone, However I can confirm the 3b20 message is still coming up. Re: 3b20 not violated but not allowed to log in
Please inform me such things to be double sure and find it in logs easier:
1) Player name, PC name (I see you added something in the end of your post, so double checking those are correct)
2) Server you tried to connect when you got it
3) Date and time you did it.

Re: 3b20 not violated but not allowed to log in
Okay, found it.
[Tue Nov 15 13:15:02] Player rubrightrichard with PC Malik violated 3b20 rule.
Class1: 10, level: 5
Class2: 52, level: 9
Class3: 78, level: 5
Class4: 134, level: 1
Our logging does say that you actually did violate that rule.
10 = Wizard
52 = Eldritch knight
78 = Thaumaturge
134 = Dragonslayer
Keep in mind, that even if you used 100% RCR toon or similar and you start from 0 to over 20 (like 26), you still have to have all 3 levels in each of your classes at level 20.
I know, for years, 3b20 script didn't catch such things thus people used it without knowing it's not right, but i fixed it months ago. Please contact DM team for letting your RCR this PC to bring it into compliance with server rules.

Oh, i totally don't exclude option that some vanilla game function i used returned wrong result, not like it never happened before.Ibnshaitan1 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 5:15 am Thank you for the help, I would swear to god I did it right but you have the logs
But in this case, it feels that you didn't know that 3b20 applies to >lvl20 RCRd PCs automatically. As i said, i don't see reason you wouldn't comply with 3b20 except for an error as your classes allow for fitting into 3b20 without much hassle.

Thank God for that because I have been really bothered by this. I am old and from the PnP era, but not senile yet. I did the 5 wiz to open up the EK. I did 5ish of them to get the requirements for Thaum which I did 5 of to get out of the way. Then I remember doing 3 DrSlayer, went back to the EK and then finished the DrSlayer. I cant explain the log and actually bothered by this.

Re: 3b20 not violated but not allowed to log in
Well, your PC bic showed that you took dragonslayer on lvl 15 (or close to it) once, all other levels are different classes. Bic files store class progression, so if needed, i could reopen it and give exact classes taken at levels, if you need it (though, i doubt you need it). It's been second issue reported about 3b20 enforcement and both so far seem to be either user error or some rare floating glitch.Ibnshaitan1 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 9:48 am Thank God for that because I have been really bothered by this. Checking the bic, this was the order you did:
So it looks like you might have meant to take 3 levels of Dragonslayer, but accidentally kept doing Thaum ones.

Re: 3b20 not violated but not allowed to log in
I don’t need to know. Since it shows I took DrSlayer at 15 I know I am not losing it. Perhaps I took more EK rather than DS, but I clearly was taking DS to be compliant. Thank you guys for being helpful.

Re: 3b20 not violated but not allowed to log in
I have been logging in to try to find a DM to RCR but havent had any luck. Since I will need to reference this thread I am sure can I just request the RCR be put to Malik?
