Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

This is the idea: you place your inventory items in the places you want and then the custom inventory sorting system memorises those places and returns all items to those slots when you click on the button, just like the normal button, but using your own logic instead of the game's. Like that CE command that memorises your spellbook configuration.

I'd love that. Or any variation of it. Even if it was just able to put consumables at the back and wearables at the start, or something.

I forgot to say that this should exclude gear. Any similar system for gear should be separate, in my opinion. Or at least the buttons should be separate.
