happens quite often lately. very disturbing on any shifted toon.

Is anyone else having that issue? Any idea how to fix it?

It's a daily issue now, quickcast-key more often doing nothing than working.
Accessing it from the menu in the down-left corner works, but that is not fast enough.

(i'm using epic elemental wildshape)

Have you tried assigning it to a different key?

for one session reassigning worked, but after my next login it doesn't anymore.

I've not run into this issue myself, so I won't be much help. But maybe knowing that I'm not having the issue can help narrow it down.

I have been having this issue as far as I can remember, some days it happens some it doesn't, no idea what causes it, it's usually either the F key or the D key for me that stop working, what I need to do is go to key assignment and just assign them again to the same slot and it works again, I think this is a base game problem though.

Exactly, I've seen this even for WASD movement or camera turning, just rebinding the key once ingame tends to fix it, probably not server related.

Restoring game from Alt+Tab sometimes also blocks keyboard/chat input, you have to Alt+Enter into window mode then fullscreen again to fix that.
