I noticed that the Bardic Knowledge feat no longer provides +1 per 5 levels to any lore. Is this a bug, or is it intentional?

If it's by design, could there be an option to swap the Bardic Knowledge feat? (since it does nothing now)

It should give extra knowledge to Lore: Local, I believe. But you need at least 1 point there. I think!

It's because you have to train a knowledge skill first to get the bonus to it. Put 1 skill point in it and it should work. Putting 1 point in every knowledge skill for instance would net the Bard a 7 in each of them at level 30.

Oh I see! That's odd, I made this character a long long time ago and I could have sworn that my bardic knowledge was working against those skills even though I didn't have points in them. It's a level 30 character, and I never had any problem identifying items... seems now like he has Alzheimer's

Yes, this was a recent change made by Rhifox last year during the Time of Troubles to bring the system in line with PNP, where knowledge skills require training to be used.
