As Meredith made her way into the underground village of Neblinstone, she could feel the familiar coolness of the stone walls and hear the faint sound of dripping water echoing through the caverns. She took in the sight of the small village, marveling at the ingenuity of the svirfneblin people in creating such a hidden community.
At the heart of the village was the temple, a modest structure dedicated to the worship of various deities, including Garl Glittergold, whom Meredith had prayed to many times before. She knelt at the small shrine and closed her eyes, allowing herself to be engulfed in the peaceful silence of the temple.
After a while, Meredith rose to her feet and began to explore the village. She wandered through the narrow streets and alleys, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling community. She watched as merchants hawked their wares, miners chatted about their latest finds, and etc.
As she walked, Meredith's keen eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for any sign of danger or hidden secrets, while at the same time taking note of the powerful ward that kept the place safe.
She felt a renewed sense of purpose in the safety and seclusion of Neblinstone.
As Lerbo was offloading his fishing haul for the cycle a Svirfneblin he hasn't met caught his eye. He walked over to the fella and introduced himself, the gnome introduced himself as Harvi and after the two exchanged pleasantries they could be seen taking the boat to Rockrun together.
Lerbo Nuggetneck- Svirfneblin Miner and Fisherman Rikki Richfoot- Hin Locksmith and Appraiser Harjo Crimsonhart- Dead?
As he was returning to Neblinstone after traveling far and wide with a recent acquaintance named Lerbo, Harvi, while invisible, came across a strange female near the trail leading toward the Titanfist mines. A tall, armor-clad female, pale of skin and foreign of speech had entered the region from...somewhere. After careful observation Harvi attempted to address the lady in the common (undercommon of course) tongue. After a somewhat lengthy ordeal surrounding the language barrier a commonality was reached and the two conversed for a fair bit. When the two wrapped up their rendezvous Harvi escorted Emelia, justice-bringer of Tyr to Rockrun where she could recuperate before her return to the surface.
He would then relay the following to the leadership in Neblinstone.
-The intruder was a servant of Tyr, apparently a surface deity of Justice called Emelia
- Her purpose was to negotiate trade between a surface town called Soubar and the drow city of Sshamath
- She is looking to trade surface goods for gems, ores, and other such items
- I asked her not to trade with evil Drow and trade with friendly Svirfs instead!
- She says she will come back in 3 cycles to meet in Rockrun if Svirfs are interested to speak more
- I don't think she knows how tricksy and evil Drow are.
- She is going to get eaten down here without help. She walks around lit up like a walking candle cuz she can't see in the dark!
-She seems nice and fair. I think we should maybe help her and keep the trade away from the Drow.
