Bluecap Mushroom Change

I was just curious what the purpose was for changing the Bluecap Mushrooms from Neut Poison to "Strong Antidote". The Strong antidote does a chance roll I believe to maybe remove poison? and a bonus to Fort roll.

It was quite disheartening to see the change as they were quite useful and now they seem quite less so with varying tests.

Hello there,

It's a small design change that comes with a variety of new herbs and collectibles, tailored to make them work closer as they are described in lore. There will be more about this posted very soon. While I understand that the isolate case of bluecap mushroom can feel sad, I really hope that the larger system will be great, give more opportunities and be more interactive. In addition, to further detail the case of bluecap mushroom, it will be way easier to harvest and more appropriate for lower levels.

There will be other items to cover what bluecap mushrooms did in the past, and really way more.

It is my understanding that the groundwork for these changes have been there since 2021 some time, and the intention that Rhifox announced last year was to move Neutralise Poison off from foods to instead have a poison resistance effect:
