Characters screwed up by the current patch

Well, it's in the name. Whatever the current patch is about, it has screwed up most of my characters. A couple are missing their original faces replaced by another generic one. Some are missing entirely, the whole model is gone.
I suspect it has something to do with the face models from one set all of them were using. And, probably, hairs, too. Those faces are also gone for me from the character creation options. The set is human and aasimar/tiefling faces, those you'd see right away if you started clicking left through the options, the ones with all sorts of beards and moustaches and horns for tieflings.
Basically, I'm missing most of the options from the character creation screen for faces and hairs. Is it something on my side with some files failing to download properly during the update?
