Gathering and Processing bugs and issues

Thank you a BUNCHES to Ashenie for the latest update to noncombat systems:

Howerver, as it's a completely new system, I imagine there will be a string of little tweaks that will need seeing to, and wasn't sure if posting a flood of "here's a screenshot" and a strreff fix was called for. So I'm starting this thread unless I get asked to split them up. I'll add more as I find them.
1)
Purple Crocus [item] - has no description. it's actually "There is nothing special about this item", whereas every other herb or plant has at least a brief descriptor.
2)
Apple Orchard in Northern Outskirts - has 5 apple-nodes. Once you pick 3 of them, the other two report "You see no more good fruits".
Might be intended? but seems suspect since you can offer to trade 5 apples to the farmer who is there and there are 5 nodes.
3)
Violet patch (White Mask Theater, Manor District) - Node is broken, can be interacted but doesn't do anything.

Hello there,
All the flower items don't have a description. Rose, Lavender, Purple Crocus... I can work on adding them.
For the orchard, I am not sure what might be causing this. They become interactible after 6 minutes, but the timers are supposed to be per nodes. I will try to ask for more precisions.
The violet, and many other herbs, should be corrected now!

Crafting Essential Oil took 5 flowers. This wasn't listed, but happened both times I tested (with Crocus and with Poppy). Given that the production appears to be 1 bottle of Essential Oil per reset or two (given gathering limits), it should probably be listed that it will take 5 of the flower, and not the 1 that Alcohol does.

I can only manage to harvest 3 apples, 3 pears, 3 strawberries, and 3 apple-leaves since the last reset. This applies to all their nodes I've found in BG (Northern Outskirts for apples and strawberries, Heapside for Pears, and the Halls of Inner Light orchard for apples + pears). It might apply to other nodes (I have only 1 poppy left, and have only harvested 6 over 2 resets), but does not apply to Water-sources or Mudwort (both of which seem to be everywhere).
I suspect this is a per-reset harvest-cap, and not strictly relegated to the nodes in North Outskirts.

This should be related to the topic , woundswort and fleshwort don't work anymore , can click them but nothing happens .

Hello there,
On the subject of herbs not working, there are several of them. It was due to a wrong script attached to the placeable, which is already corrected for next update.
About herbs in the underdark, there are a few, both in herb shop and collectibles. It's less than what you find on the surface, but the documentation about the Underdark vegetation was also lacking. Though, if you have any suggestions, or sources to submit, you can send them to me. They would need to be discussed in any case. Some herbs in the Underdark are also rare so not so present, or difficult to find. But we made a focus on having vegetation specific to the Underdark, as much as we could.

Mandrake root seems to give Stonewort. Is this intended?
Varathar on this spot at Chionthar, East along the river, is on a non-walkable spot.

During my time as DM Dreamer I started a thread called Flora and Fauna of Underdark, or something like this. Perhaps a Staff member could link it, or you could find it. Hope it helps.
I'm enjoying the system, looking forward to its further exploration and development!

Crafting Flour at the mill required 5 [Wheat], provided 20 XP, and gave me no flour.
The dialog is states [Use the mill to get floor]. (that should be flour.)
[Wheat] item name uses the namecolor <C=yellowgoldenrod> and shows up as black, which should be <C=goldenrod> (or Yellow, but not both, or even <C=wheat>)

Bucket (for milk) does not grant Milk item when used. (it does grant 10 XP and go on cooldown though)

Hello there,
This was due to the reference of the item comprising one more 0 than it should. It is corrected, but until next update, refraining using the mill system might save some wheat loss.
As for the rest, it is properly corrected,

serpent trail: DC 4 and 8

Tea of Hypercium comes with the incorrect description. What it shows is apparently for something made from harlthorn and hoof-leaf instead. The effects seem to match what the original herb claimed to do, though

There are now two versions of [Apple] (Formerly [An Apple]). They form different stacks, and I'm not sure why. only one version stacks with renamed [An Apple]
Mill conversation offers to make "a sac of flour". (should be Sack)
Conversation at the Cooking Placeable states that "floor" is an ingredient to make bread.

Feedback: the benches in Soubar seem to be missing an alchemist's version, not sure if that's relevant. More importantly, they are spamming chat window when used, making it very difficult to role-play when a 3rd party uses them. This can probably be resolved by moving them away from market in Soubar.
