PROPOSAL: Open Eldrich Knight to Warlocks

Kind of a simple proposal but would be appreciated if EK had the option of progressing invocation based magics (similar to Dragonslayer).

Would EK still then require level 3 arcane spellcasting? Or is the idea that Warlock Greater invocations would suffice? Or Lesser?

Would a Warlock 11 / EK 9 / Dragon Slayer 10 be too much of a melee powerhouse?

I have play Eldrich Knight with out this Prc Eldrich Knight as a "WarLock" and many know that so we dont need it
