Hi!
I was thinking about RCR'ing my Horc barbarian into a full on ORC and see if I can get involved or drum up some Orc RP or even maybe help organize some orc RP.

I have seen oh so many guilds and factions start with great intensions in mind, only to fall apart due to lack of organization and/or interest. I am usually the first to try to bandwagon onto these fledgling factions to try and support them- so I have seen many come and go.

So, I wanted to send out some feelers to see how many orc players there are out there. And also, if there are any players out there thinking they might be interested in some orc or orcblood related RP. I do not have any major plans for a specific faction atm. I was thinking of creating a surface/underdark network that has its main base in Uruk Lurra. Realisticlally I am doubt there would be many of us, but if we get 3 players in any particular time zone and get 6 of us for events and meet ups- I think we could have a lot of fun.

I wont be asking for any specific commitments from anyone interested other than to simply have a Horc or Orc character. Get involved as little or as much as you would like. I simply was toying with the idea to setting up and helping organizing this network so that as orc players we can all can have certain resources to connect with.

-A public forum thread that I will update semi regularly with all orc related antics. Something like: viewtopic.php?p=945347#p945347
-A Discord room.
-A Private forum - if catches on.

Heck, maybe these things are already in play?
Let me know if that is the case.
Or, let me know any of you are interested. If I get enough replies to this thread, I will see what we can get started.

Not an orc player myself, but Darkhold has been working on rebuilding its alliance with Uruk Lurra so I'm very keen on RPing with orc people if it gets going again!

Eh? I thought there was some orc that way doing some Rp hell one eats the heart of Elves last I remember!

Uruk Lurra is still in play, yep. I just can't alone be the RP motivator.

I'm down to clown with the orcs, especially if they're from Uruk Lurra or the Underdark. I just can't have any more alts, so my wizard will have to suffice.

A little update.
With the orc I will have 3 characters. One is tied to a specific faction and I do not do much RP outside that faction RP. The other is a Drow- and the UD is usually barren so RP is niche and limited. And the orc will be sort of limited to as well. So these three niche characters should work fine. They are located on different corners of the server so the RP streams should not get crossed/avoided.

So I have heard back from some other players that want to RP with an orc faction but not as orcs themselves. That is fine but we really need actual Orcs!
It is great that their is interest in starting something.

It seems Deathgrowl is getting something going so I will reach out and have my orc challenge Deathgrowls orc to a fight to the death for leadership!!!!!!!
Just kidding- my orc is more of an enforcer type and will allow others to lead....if they do a good job. We all know what failure means...no pressure.

One other player reached out to me and indicated they would be willing to roll an alt orc toon. So maybe if I/we can get accepted into Deathgrowls Sub-tribe, I think that should work. Depending on what happens there I will try to chip in and see what can be done to grow the faction, IE - world domination.

If anyone else is interested in rolling an alt for some Elf skinning, Dwarf smashing, manflesh eating fun, please reply here or send me a PM. Depending on the replies I get I will decide if I should start a low level toon or RCR my Horc and create a high level orc.

I've seen a couple of other orcs in-game, so there's a few besides Deathgrowl's lurking about.

Yep- I did it.
First day with my shiny new orc. He is starting at level 15...so lots of room to grow.
I have had a couple other players show some interest as well. So I thought might as well give it a go!

I think if we keep the RP story related to begin with and not actively seek out pvp (although I do anticipate and encourage the likelihood others might start it), it should be interesting and a lot of fun. The orcs of Uruk Luura do not have a lot of power and are very disorganized - so I think the RP will be more about survival than it will be about world domination at this point.

Send me a Private message (or post here) if you want your orc and my orc to meet up in game. Otherwise I will see you all in there. *rawr*

RCRed an older orc toon to be a better RP fit! Excited to RP with you all. Dang, Wirg is even getting in on it!
