storm of vengeance crashes my game 100% (gpu?)

Recently I had to replace my old nvidea 1060 card, so now I got a Radeon RX 6600.
All plays fine, but every single storm of vengeance (cast by anyone) crashes my game.
Has anyone any idea how to fix that?
(tried different drivers, windowed mode, all settings lowest, compatibility mode, reinstalled DX9,...)

Have you tried playing without the Client Extension? Does it also crash if you cast SoV in the BG JEGs server?

Damn. Well, that’s messed up. If no one else is having any issues, nor does anyone else play with the same graphics card, it might be real difficult to determine the problem.

have you uninstalled all of Nvida video drivers, and then uninstall the drivers of your new video card, then reinstall the driver of the video card?

yes, always removed all with DDU before installing.

Try using a third party app to limit your max FPS on NWN2 to 60. NWN2 without frame limiting likes to shoot to thousands of FPS on modern hardware, causing overheating and crashes.
