I know why I was led here...She demanded I find that which was Lost to time.. something to aid in defeating her enemies. To snuff out the Light.
Her designs in this realm are beyond imagination. Portal after portal aimed at disorienting those not meant to be here, creatures meant to stay on your heel so you may not find purchase. I've lost track of time...has it been hours? days?
I've seen the same sights repeatedly...does She aim to spin me in circles? Perhaps, she's testing my faith. My devotion.
This must be divine punishment...in this I am expected to overcome the trials and prove myself to Her. To find what She seeks...this weapon, artifact, or Lost knowledge? The only direction I was given was to come to this location and find it....but what was "it"?
I've found books of ancient knowledge that I cannot decipher.. some ancient language lost to time.
I've spent so long trying to decipher these texts but everytime that I'm on a breakthrough, I'm interrupted by the shadows...things that I thought would serve me and aid me.
In my retreat from the creatures, I found refuge in what could only be considered a warning...
That I would be left here among the trespassers and other failures should I continue disappointing her.
I am ill prepared for this mission.
