Planned build: Ranger 5(Hunter kit 4), Assassin 8, Wilderness Stalker 7, OOBI 10

Issue: No access to Assassin Spell Book

Expected Result: No Ranger Spell Book, still have access to Assassin Spell Book

Actual Result: Some spell progression for Ranger (1 lvl 1 spell), No access to Assassin Spell Book


Tested in Jeggs, that build still allows me to have one spell from Ranger Spell book, but I cannot turn to the Assassin Spell book using B. Am I doing something wrong to access the Assassin Spell Book? Also, if the wiki is correct, I am supposed to get feats that allow for 1x casting of Ghostly visage, Darkness, and Invisibility? if so I do not see those feats upon completing the build.

The assassin/blackguard spellbooks aren't real spellbooks, they're emulated via feats (I think they're called "Assassin Spells", and replace the feats erroneously still listed on the wiki article). As for Ranger, you're allowed to prepare a spell (because we can't turn the spellbook off at the source without making it a different base class... not that I can give you a single good reason Rasael didn't in this case ), but you will not be able to cast it.

They're in your "Class Feats" section named "Assassin's Spellbook" 1 - 4. Just put them in the hotbar, that's what I do.

After testing and tips, and a talk with Dalo, this can be closed, just an ID-10-T issue, this is all, Thank you for the help guys.
