It's been a long time since I've played. I'm not even sure anyone who used to play with me still does in fact. Haha. We may find out.

So basically here's the case. I have a couple of issues.

Issue number 1.) When downloading it's trying to install the online module to my one drive for some reason lol.

Any tips on how to change that? My game isn't saved to 1 drive. It's saved to a specific hard drive I use only for gaming.

Issue number 2.) I actually remembered my login for the bgtscc website here, but not the in game username I used to have LOL!!!! So I played this server a lot back in the day. Any idea on how I would figure out what it was?

I only remember one character name right now. Haha

EDIT: I have disabled one drive. Now it shows it's downloading again. But it doesn't tell me a destination folder now. Not sure if that's good or bad.

I have ran this downloader a lot since last night. Probably downloaded a total of 10gb or more data. The blue bar at the bottom will slowly fill. Until it reaches whatever it decides. What I mean by that is. If I try the download one time it may say it's about 1.2gb Then I run it again after that completes and it says that it's 487mb download. Then if I let that run as long as it wants it will go to over 4GB downloaded, but then it begins to show a negative download. So for example: -1,687MB download left. If I then let that negative download complete back to a normal 0 status, then that download will begin to increase in time, instead of decrease in time I can then download up to another 4gb this way. All in one setting without restarting.

UPDATE: I have successfully removed the issue with one drive. Upon completing this action, it reset all of my in-game settings. So I believe they were somehow linked to the one drive cloud for some reason as well.

I restarted the process of the update and it's reading 1039.78MB which is what I believe the original install was calling for when this issue first arose.

My connection disconnected. I'm not sure where to go from here yet.

Intermission: I'm not sure at this point. It's overdownloaded the 1.03gb download again. I can just let it run in the background for now and see how far it goes. That's over 5gb so far.

Next UPDATE: So the game has gone through a process of Downloading up to the 1039.78MB then it continued passed that point up to 2GB.
Once it reached the 2GB mark it started showing Negative again and the blue bar that filled emptied itself.

I continued waiting through this process back down to 0MB once it reached back to 0MB it showed that the meter was once again filling to 1039.78MB again.

During this process I can still see that files are shifting at the bottom, but I haven't watched closely enough to monitor if the same files have gone through. Each one reads as Attempt: 1.

I will continue to monitor the files more closely to see if I am in fact stuck in a loop, or if it's progressing as normal.

UPDATE 2: I will condense this process once it is resolved and provide answers if someone should have this issue behind me.

I am now over 2gb downloaded, the blue bar has filled and emptied again, but the files at the bottom left hand corner are still swapping as if progress is being made, so I will continue to let it run.

FINAL EDIT: Alright. So basically you just have to run it until the files at the bottom left are no longer saying they're downloading. Also pay attention to your attempt counter in the same area.

I basically had to download 6gb total. Then my connection crashed.

I reconnected and it said it needed another 1.57gb of a download. So I let that run t completion.

I was able to connect to the servers without issue at that time.

Now I only need to figure out my actual game login info. Does anyone know what website I could find that at?

-home parameter allows you to redirect where you will have those files sent to and accessed from.

I actually had to disable the backups for one drive. They were automatically trying to install only certain files to the cloud for some reason. This allowed me to install locally on my first attempt.

Edit: I was mostly an underdark player with only a couple surface characters. One of them was the leader of Bregan Daerthe at some point.

There is no such thing as passwords anymore. Gamespy is gone. Just type whatever and click login.
