When making my sorceress, I originally chose the Entertainer background feat with the intention of picking up acrobatics alongside perform.

Unfortunately, the acrobatics component was non-functional and didn't give me acrobatics as a class skill.

Hello, Whatsittoya!

I have investigated your issue here, and I was able to use the feat without issue.

The feat in question is a background feat seen here:


I was able to create a fresh character and use the feat successfully.

Were you able to see this screen when selecting the feat? Here:


I was able to level the character and see that the skill was reflected properly on his level up.

Also, were you using the JEGS server, or did this occur to you on an actual character?

If this occured on an actual character, I suggest using the upper left hand corner of the website to submit a formal DM request for a 100% RCR token, then I would try to have the DM remain present while you attempt to take the feat again in order to make sure you're able to acquire it without further issue.

I was able to select the feat, and I was able to select Acrobatics and Perform

BUT

It NEVER gave me Acrobatics as a skill.

The issue isn't in being able to select it, the issue is never being granted Acrobatics as a class skill after selecting it.

We've found issues with a few different background feats at this time. They have been fixed and will be working as intended after The next update.

After the next update you should be able to put in a request for a 100% rcr token through the DM request portal at the top left of the forums.

As long as you properly selected your desired skill the first time, the fix should be retroactive. If it's not, you can ask DMs for help.

The character in question was subjected to RCR to pick a background feat that worked when this issue came up

so I no longer have it at all and am probably not entitled to any extra assistance on the matter.
