1-I think The gelatinous cube shape should have a high/epic move silently mod?

2-Hide bonus? Mmm maybe just to represent how they are hard to see?
And / or perhaps persist invisibility that only works inside or dark?

3-Persistent-Blindsight & Blind -spot mod?

4-Pass through wall spell as a ability to represent their ability to squeeze through any size crevices?

1.) I'm not sure that they would be all that silent? Wouldn't they be squishing and sloshing around? You ever wiggle a bowl of jello?

2.) While they have a degree of transparency, does this really seem like enough to promote them having an invisibility for it? Perhaps maybe to the sneak as some sort of camouflage bonus?

3.) Do they have eyes? Idk about that one.

4.) Pass through wall would only then work on certain porous walls yes? So each wall type would likely need it's own descriptors as well as if it's possible to use such a thing on said wall. Likely these shapes and forms would be unable to move through many walls in the underdark for example. but I do think this is a cool concept.

They have blindsight in the monster manual, if I remember correctly.

Blindsight: An ooze’s entire body is a primitive sensory organ that can ascertain prey by scent and vibration within 60 feet.

1) From what I can see, they have no specific bonuses to silent movement - but they are not characterized as 'sloshing' in most depictions, and usually represented as stealthy predators. see #2

2) They have an ability called Transparent (Ex) that says it requires a DC 15 Spot check to notice them, which is a fairly impressive passive stealth mechanic for a CR3 4HD creature. Given that it isn't a hide check (merely passive 'if you aren't looking you get engulfed'), and per description an expected occurrence that it will not be seen, they are presumably quiet enough not to alert enemies by their mere presence (any floating bones or allies may be a different matter). 3) As noted above, they do have Blindsight (60ft) as a base ability.

4) Gelatinous Cubes are usually depicted as a 10x10x10 block of fairly cohesive material, which while capable of molding it's shape to squeeze through narrow passages, isn't usually as amorphous as other Oozes. It would probably be more appropriate for a Ochre Jelly to have the ability to pass through walls as they are noted to "compress its body to fit into cracks as small as 1 inch wide", while a Cube would be 'squeezing' through a 5-foot passage.

1- this is the reason for a stealth bonus sure it might start low but seeing as it’s a shaper I figured they would get better in time.=^^=

2-yeah figured putting conditions on the invis would help balance it, though hide I think makes a better alternative? I mean challenge rating 3 is inaccurate for a shaper who has more comprehension and could use its natural camouflage to help blend in as it’s not a real cube just seeking a meal?=^^=

Gelatinous cube bodies were remarkably moldable. They could flow around objects and through narrow passages, quickly returning to their shapes once enough space was available.[6]

If there is a real, listened-to discussion of how to improve the GC shape, can it also be considered to fix the Engulf Combat Log reporting, as well as kinda how it even works IG mechanically?

For one, it has some Combat Log issues.
For two, it's special abilities have yuuuge delays.
For three, compare it to any other form, and it pales in comparison.
