Hey folks. There's been a lot of talk recently about how to advertise the server more. I've been working on a small trailer to showcase some of the awesome areas this server has been known for. Here's the finished product. It's in a walking style I've seen done in other games.
Finally completed it. It's not perfect but I think it works.
Also check out Avanos' Red Collective trailer in this thread:

I like it! I think you could add more footage of Baldur's Gate streets, to show how big and populated it is.

I thought about it but wasn't sure which part of the city to make the final focal point of the trailer. Any ideas?

				Oh Cool!
Nice work Lambe..
I'm working on two trailers myself right now (one will be finished this weekend - showcasing the darker side of the server)
Perhaps we can get together for my second trailer, which will revolve around a new adventurers growth on the surface.

Yea I'd love to. Let us know what you had in mind and see what we come up with

				This is great!!
If you're looking for a quote, this is from the title page of Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast:

Year of the Serpent is 1359 DR. Just last IG year.

Thanks a lot Steve! That looks good

Now just need a server logo or title.

The forum logo / top image is easy enough to see...but it isn't very high quality.

I also have some older pics of the City, like the Docks (but still works well). Can have the text removed, if that is easier / better to create in the video editor)"

				This is really cool!
My only feedback is that over the first 2 minutes it felt like there were a lot of the 'grassy' areas that became a little repetitive. To balance that with some more variety, it'd be nice to capture some of the Amn mountains (including for some snow), some interior areas (maybe the Gnoll caves, an inn interior, and then maybe another dungeon?) and then as someone else said, some of the Gate areas.

I tried to capture more server 2 stuff as well, but it always seems to rain there when I do

. I can always swap the clips around when I get the chance to capture other areas. As for interiors, they should be showcased when I add combat footage towards the end of the trailer.
I've updated it with some shots of the city as well as Steve's quote. Added about a minute from the previous version and I'll need about 30 seconds' worth of combat or rp footage to fill it. If anyone has any footage laying around, I'd be happy to add them. If not, I'll just start stalking people on their dungeon runs (camera man never dies btw). Still need a logo or something.

Trailer's finished. I've updated the link on the top post with the completed video.
Shoutout to Steve for the quote and Avanos for the logos. Great work on those. Also thanks to all who helped me out in game.
Enjoy!
P.S. The server really should have its own youtube channel for stuff like this.
