The time and time of day in the game is the one that is in the game itself - or is it based on the time and time of day in the real life?

People usually RP the day night cycle as it is in game .
Since we have players from all over the world , everyone taking their own RL time of day would be confusing at the least , though the in game date is linked to OOC / real world time .

That's what I thought. But again better to check. Thank you
