Last Stand improvements

Would it be feasible to improve
Last Stand a little? While I don't think it should necessarily be as good as, say, Chorus of Heroism, the fact it takes a "casting action" to get around 100 Temp HP for a couple rounds is very lackluster.
Could it be at least made an instant action?

I could see making it an actual Last Stand by activating automatically when you hit 0 HP, and be a true heal rather than temp HP, like spirit shaman's contingent heal ability.

I actually do like the idea of that as well, but that one doesn't really address it currently being a party-wide effect.

A few interesting things we could do along those lines...
- Implement something similar to WotR's Last Stand: Once per day, when brought to 0 HP or less, you heal to 1 HP and cannot be harmed for a short period. (Technically the correct implementation would be "you cannot be brought below 1 HP", but we can't do that and will need to resort to piling on tons of damage immunities instead.) Maybe scale the duration off CHA modifier, like the NWN feat?
- Sort of keep it an active ability: Once per day, for one minute/CHA, you and all party members will heal 20d10 HP the first time they are brought below 0 HP.
Either way, it feels like it would finally justify the two epic (technically three, but there's a lot of other reasons one might take Epic Prowess) and one pre-epic feat required to unlock it. I'm thinking we'd skip the Contingent Heal effect either way (I've observed some anomalous behavior with that thing when playing Gurzhuk, as rage expiration could very frequently punt me into the Fugue
despite the heal effect), and just hook it into the onDying/onDeath scripts.

May I bump this? I'm technically fine just using Last Stand as a flavor/RP prop, but it would actually have mild value if it was at least made an instant action.

Improving it is quite low priority, we can't promise a time table for when changes might go in. It's on the radar, though.
