DDs Defensive stance and Man at Arms

So I've noticed some time ago that when I activate Defensive stance and then use MaAs Challenge ability but also the default Demoralize opponent ability (not confused with MaA version), both for some reason cancel the Defensive stance. The icon actually keeps blinking on the hotbar, like it was still active but the buffs are gone and there is no message saying the stance ended.
I don't think it should work that way because the PC does not actually move when using them. Challenge and Demoralize opponent are based on voice, taunting, not movement.

I would really appreciate if this was corrected.

I asked this same question a while back. This is the answer I received.

Is it possible to remove the number of Defensive Stances and replace the action with a simple toggle on and off? Given the sensitivity hardcoded in... Five defensive stances are equal to one action.
