As per the subject. I get +2 on my charge despite that the Furious Charge feat is supposed to give +4.

I checked it on JEGS and it seems to work properly there adding the full bonus. I had the feat as a background one on my char from long before ToT and it wasn't working so I thought that was the issue. So I RcR'ed my char, took the feat properly through levelling and yet it doesn't seem to work. Any reason why?

I was going to say, if it's different between JEGs and live then that implies a local issue with the character or gear. JEGs and live run on the same code. I checked the code and there was no issue with it.

Yeah, I assumed it was char-related and/or vault-related since I RcR'ed it under the same name. Probably had something to do with it going back to the char having the feat before ToT when it was still a background one. Anyway, someone's snuck into my vault and fixed it, it seems.

Alright, I got my hopes too high, silent fix-fixer fren was never there. After some more testing, I've figured it out.

If my char is under the effect of Heroism (as per potion of Heroism supplied by some kind soul through Mudd), the bonus added by Furious Charge is just 2. Basically, the feat doesn't take Heroism +2AB effect into account. I have no means to test it with Greater Heroism at the moment, but at this rate it could well be that it overwrites FC bonus entirely.

Any chance there could be a fix for that? Between Powerful Charge being broken with Power Attack and Furious Charge being broken this way my poor barb is packed with feats that do very little for him.

Thanks for fixing this. While we are at it, mind if I mention here that Reckless Offensive of Battlerager (and generally as a feat as it's not class-exclusive, as far as I recall) doesn't stack with charge bonuses either? It applies the penalties while charge bonus is active, but not the bonus AB. I wasn't sure if I should make a separate topic for it or not.

After discussing it with colleagues and doing some research, i actually had to revert my fix.
Generally, i thought that attack_bonus_misc doesn't stack with itself, but, turns out, it actually stacks.Thus, whatever reason it doesn't work for you, it won't be fixed by changes i made so i reverted them.

Can you please advise me, what buffs/gear do you have with you when issue happens?
Please PM me your PC build (here or discord, same name on bgtscc general) so i could make a QC character and make tests.

Hey. Thanks for taking your time to look into this. I guess I'll check if the issue persists without equipment and other buffs to rule them out first and then get back to you.

Did a quick test, the issue persists with no equipment, modes or buffs whatsoever apart from Heroism (still haven't checked if it applies to Greater Heroism, too). As for the build, it's on the screenshot. Feats from levelling include Power Attack, Cleave, Furious Charge, Northland Hewing, Steadfast Determination, Improved Shield Bash. Let me know if you need any additional info.
