Physical description:
This 5'9" tiefling had long wavy fire red hair, gold irises with the pupils being red. She is fit and toned for her age, showing signs of battle and scars in a few places. Speaking of scars there is one that is healed around her left eye, the way it appears looks to be self-inflicted too! When she is not in combat this lovely lady of fire can be often seen working on a sketch in her sketchbook or reading. Around her neck is a Chocker that has a Jacinth gem in the center of it with Kossuths symbol carefully carved into it. Her tail shares the same gem in bands that adorn it. It is safe to say that she has a favorite gem. Recently and due to her own hand, Na'Karia has lost one of her horns for good. There are signs of it having been eaten by flames, along with the horn there a number of large scars that litter her body, some that go deep into her skin and appear to be resistant to healing magics. One of these large scars goes the the very tip of her tail. There is also a burn on her forehead that wanders down to her right eye

Psychological description:

Na'Karia these days becomes observant of thing, remaining quiet as she watches her surroundings and people in them. Many would consider her to be a wall flower or a Hermit, but the reality of it is that she simply gives people the floor to speak without interruptions. From time to time she will move or shift a bit but remains conscious of the conversation on hand. Listening to what is said and watching how one's body language can change. She is Empathetic to others and cares greatly for those she keeps close to her in a small circle. Yet at times she can easily enter a sort of depression and Isolate herself from others. However if slighted in anyway, she will burn bridges with others and not regret the choice for doing so. To her, people get one chance, a second one is just another chance for them to slight her again.

Since the day she was a child, Na'Karia has heard voices in her head. Sometimes they are helpful guides, sometimes they attack her with negative thoughts. However over time and through the years, she has come to learn how to deal with them with the help from Telash as she grew up. Na'Karia has even considering them to be voices of relevant to her Lord Kossuth. So she has chosen to stand against the despair and look forward to brighter horizons rather than stay in the darkness. The voices in her head are still present, but they speak to her less and now only act as guides to ground her when she needs it.

Religious views:
Having been raised around the faith of Kossuth, the following at the Tenets that Na'Karia has made for herself to follow.
  • Power isn't merely something to strive for, it is a necessity.
  • Harbor an unyeilding faith and respect for your betters.
  • Harness that which you excell at and grow; take hold of your endless possibilities.
She has also come to respect a number of other faiths and what they are about. She is interested by what other faiths teach and what their views are things. She respects the followers of other faiths as well...so long as they respect her.

Ancestor:

It is absolutely known to her now that she is a descendant of Belial through Fierna. She learned of this connection from her adoptive mother, mentioning that it dates back 666 years before it made itself known again. Na'Karia actively chooses to not be like her Infernal blood but doesn't want to get rid of it just yet.

History

Born to a Red Wizard in Benzantur, Na'Karia was spared the life of experimentation thanks to her Mother killing her father in a fit of rage. All on the assumption that Na'Karia was killed. When in truth, Na'Karia was taken by the young Righteous Flame, Telash. While she was still a Baby Na'Karias mother was executed for the death of a Red Wizard. Years had gone by for Na'Karia though, she learned the basics from Telash. How to read and write, how to listen when someone told her something in Thayan, and how to survive as best she could. For years Na'Karia followed Telash's guidance in the faith, most of it coming to her with such ease that many of the others Priests of the temple were impressed but also unsettled with how she was able to comprehend things. Many whispered how her Golden Red eyes looked like Fire, how the flames seems to shift ever so slightly towards her. Yet there was something else about Na'Karia that caused whispers to stir in the faith, at times Na'Karia would be speaking to thin air. As if something or someone was in front of her speaking to her. Members would keep a distance, whispering that the child was either communing with the Flamelord or speaking to something that was tied to her Infernal heritage. That the "Devil child" would bring ruin and disater to the Temple if she kept speaking to the air. Telash noticed the whispers, and made sure to keep a close eye on Na'Karia as she focused on her studies. Telash later learned from Na'Karia that there were voices who spoke to her. Na'Karia believed everyone could hear the voices and never understood why people ignored them. As a child she didn't understand at first that she was the only one to hear them. On top of her studies, Na'Karia learned of ways to keep herself from speaking outloud when the 'voices' began to chatter in her head again. Sometimes she could manage it, sometimes she would slip and speak to them like she was holding a conversation with a friend.

At the age of 13, Na'Karia met a Chultan boy named Thrand, a jovial soul who enjoyed his time playing his drumb when he could in the markets. He would invite the young Torch of the Faith to come over listen for a while. Telash encouraged her and said the beat was good enough to even dance to. Na'Karia had never been one to shy away from dancing, though she preferred to do so it private more than to dance in public. Yet her adoptive mother encouraged her and said she wasn't the only one. Indeed a crowd had formed as was dancing to the melody the boy was playing. It was also that day that Thrand joined the two as a third member of their Misfit Family. By the time she was 18 years of age and well into her progress as a Righteous Flame, it was time for Na'Karia to walk the Flame Walk once more. However something different happened this time. The normal orange coals of the Flamewalk turned Azure in color and rose higher up than normal. Telash pulled her daughter back from the flames as they burned bright, scowling some at the tiefling for thinking of stepping into the Holy flames when she was not yet worthy. Many of the Priests swiftly fell to their knees and bowed to the flames in reverence, Telash too did the same as she pulled Na'Karia down to the floor. Yet Na'Karia was in a trance as she looked at the flames. As if something or someone was in them already looking at her specifically. She could hear a voice in her mind, but it was quiet, soft like a whisper in cracking flames. She couldn't understand what was being said, but they rang in her ears for a long time. It was unlike the other voices she had heard daily, those she could hear clearly, this one...this one was an outside force.

After that day, Na'Karia looked into studying the language of the Plane of Elemental Fire. She needed to understand what was said to her that day. However, Telash was soon assigned to move to a new location. An Enclave in Marsember. In the quiet of the night, Telash woke Na'Karia up and told her to pack. Thrand was also awake, both were dressed in dark garbs and ushered Na'Karia to do the same. A quiet knock came to their door a few moments later, A city guardsman looked at the Trio, their gaze lingering longer on Na'Karia, before they looked away. Telling them that there was a ship ready to leave Thay, but they needed to hurry. Telash nodded and took her kids quietly as they moved through the dark allies of Bezantur towards the Docks. Carefully they made their way and quietly boarded the ship leaving. They watched from the sea as Thay became smaller and smaller to them. The hopes of experiencing what happened in the temple again now gone, yet it still made no sense to Na'Karia. Who was it that she had seen in the flames...could it have been Kossuth? But why? The rocking of the ships didn't ease her worry nor did it make her feel any less seasick.

Months passed as they traveled from Thay to a Port city called Marsember in Cormy. A Thayan Enclave had been set up in the city and a friend of Telash was waiting for them in the Temple to Kossuth there. Once they docked at the port, Telash coverd Na'Karia as best she could with what was on hand and walked with her kids to the Temple. The priest was waiting outside from them and welcomed the three in before they let their hoods down. The Priest paused for a moment and looked at Na'Karia. Blinking in surprise not only at the sight of her, but at the sight of her eyes. Making the comment how they were like Gems of Flames resting in a devils skull. Na'Karia knew of her Devil Heritage thanks to Telash speaking with her about it, that long before her time her ancestors made a deal that tainted the blood line. But she didn't find it to be something to judge her on, not when actions spoke louder volumes than Blood ever could. The priest resumed what he was doing and told the three could treat the Temple like their home. Years passed, Na'Karia had grown to the age of 25, the voices in head that she could hear had slowly drifted away into silence. Telash smiled as she saw her daughter grow to be a devoted follower of the faith with her own ways of Praising the Flamelord. Thrand had left home two years earlier to join a traveling band that moved across Faerune performing in towns and cities. He would often write to them and tell them how the bands performance went or what sort of juicy gossip he had heard about while on his travels. Soon though it was time for Na'Karia to set off on her own. She needed to find answers to the questions she had in her head. She needed to know what she was meant to do in the world. And staying in a Temple to Kossuth didn't feel like it was the answer. Telash understood and told her of Baldur's Gate. That there may be cluse for her to find out that way, all she needed to do was keep her ears and mind open to the Flamelord. That he would guide her on the path. Na'Kari nodded, giving her adoptive mother a hug telling her she would be safe and that she'd make it back home with tales to tell her. Soon she left to start her own journey.

Over the course of a year and some months, Na'Karia had joined a group known as the Myradon Vindicators, for a time she worked as a Vice Archon of the guild under Yuri Lichelina. However she left the guild due to her own change or morals and knowing that she could not uphold the mission of the guild. She had been spending to much time in Soubar, to much time around those who's views made her question things. Though as time went on, her attention focused more on one Tiefling in Soubar. The former Commander of the Crimson Watch now Lord Regent of Dark Hold. At first the two were like siblings, playful jabs at one another and meaningless flirts. Yet she knew too well the pulls of attraction to power and determination. Though for a time she did not act on it at first, feeling it would just be one sided. Careless one night and not observant skewered her mind more. Love potions being mixed in lead to fabrications of emotions and romance, then marriage. Yet this would not last long, months after returning things had changed.

He had started to walk a path she could not follow, with the fear that she would be left alone with a loss to heavy to bare, Na'Karia started to distance herself from Soubar and him. Pushing all of it away knowing that she could not walk the same path, that it would lead to her destruction mentally and emotionally. Within this time and distance, there were encounters with a tribe of Gnolls who followed Kossuth. Having found something new and different than what is normally seen. She started to focus on the Gnolls more and seeing that they survived. The gnolls named Skorlan, Gor'Tek, and Rhulg, became being she wanted to aid. Though she could tell that there was something off about the Leader Rhulg. How he was more insistent on fighting others, how he focused on Gnolls being better. His arrogance was not lost on her. Yet Skorlan, the old wise shaman of the tribe, resonated with her more than she first realized. In a way, she looked up to the old gnoll. She did not see the gnolls as beasts or demons, she saw them as something of interest. Something that chose to be unlike the rest.

Of course, this fixation of hers led to a divorce and a heartache between her and the Crimson Watch Commander, one that lingers with her still. The sadness did not move on, it stayed for a while, long enough that it blinded her to all that was going on around her. Blinded her enough to the point she did not notice the Vitrolic Blast from the Warlock that had stumbled across her one dark night. She didn't even notice how she had hit the ground, laying on her stomach as her blood seeped into the ground below her. She tried to look around, see who it was that attacked her, her mind fearing that it was her old flame who had been possessed by his patron Carzul to rid her for looking into ways of his Devil Pact. Yet she was to weak to move, the last thing she heard before the veil of darkness came over her conscious mind was:

"I offer this soul to you, Lord Paz'Rekul. May it suffer in Phlegethos for all eternity!"

When Na'Karia opened her eyes again, she was in chains. The screams of others echoing in her ears before she fully registered where she was. The Nine Hells, specifically the fourth layer ruled by the Arch-Devils Belial and his daughter Fierna, her ancestors. Yet this was just the start of a nightmare for her. Since her descent into the Hells, her very existence turned into one of torture and humiliation. Her ancestor had seen fit to view her as a source of amusement for a time, allowing his subjects to visit upon her agony after agony. Eventually, what was left of her wilted soul was beyond exhaustion. Tossed aside like a used rag, her soul was sent along with countless others to serve their last within Phlegetos' cruel industries. How long had it been since then? Months? Years? Decades or more? Kossuth's reach seemed not to be enough to grasp her in this place. The collars and clasps about her being perhaps having something to do with it. Tampering with them was something she had seen others do, only to become but dust from the attempts. Mortal minds were not meant to survive in conditions like these. She saw faded face after face be dragged off once they fell out of sheer exhaustion, taken to fates unknown. Eventually, exhaustion came for her as well. She awakened to a sky of brimstone, sounds of whimpering and sobbing. Gluttonous jaws ripping into flesh nearby. Swarms of imps fluttered by in the foul skies. The nearby chattering of devils and their occasional vile laughter. Those within the cage seemed divided in emotion, though most were fearful.

While she was in the cage, watching the souls around her slowly corral in a single line towards an alter and the Pit fiend judge and his bored Erinyes secretary. Bids were made on the souls that approached the alter, Devils of various sorts were around placing bids on the souls or not. Whatever was of value to them, then her gaze fell onto a familiar sight. An elderly gnoll surrounded by fire wandered in unimpeded by the guards. The nearby devils looked hungrily upon it but did not act. Eventually eyes turned back to the pitfiend at the altar. She knew this gnoll as she looked at them, the memory of them came to her mind like frost clearing off a window. She realized that it was Skorlan. However, she made no move or sign to show she recognized the gnoll, she knew that would have been bad to do. Especially with the chains still on her. Instead she got in line for the next round of souls to be auctioned off to the Devils. But while Skorlan had been watching her, so too was a Paeliryon Devil. A vassal of the Lord Belial who greedily bought two souls prior before the next round. Na'Karia noticed the gaze as well as feeling the notion of what was going to come. When it came to her turn, the tiefling walked to the Alter and stated her name for the secretary as well as being Favored by Kossuth. The Pitfiend started the auction and around her she heard the bids. Bidding went on, some of those outbid setting to bickering amongst themselves. The colossal devil blob with an entourage stepped forth to offer three soulcoins as it grinned widely.

"An Elder offers a soulcoin for this one."

Upon hearing this, Na'Karias eyes widened. Understanding now why the old gnoll was there. She wanted to turn her head, to look the old gnoll dead in the eyes at what was being offered. How could he have made such a trade. Why did he bother to do so? For her? What was it about her that made him choose this? But she did not move, she did not give way of knowing what the old Gnoll was doing. The devils around the area laughed at this though, saying that the old Gnoll had no understanding of how things were proceeding. When the old gnoll confirmed her suspicions, that is when Na'Karia turned and looked back at him. A repeating question echoed in her mind. "Why?" Why her? Why go this far? Why bother? Why did he care?

"Because these tired old bones believe you to not be broken. You are favored by our god. You have shown kindness to creatures your kind attack upon sight. This ember inside me has little left. The Tribe is in turmoil. It has been thus for some time. But you?.. This Elder believes you to be far more than an ember."

Was the answer the old gnoll gave her after he had stepped up and stood beside her at the great alter made auctioneers corner.

The Pitfiend judge had issued a recess of the dealing, stepping closer to the Gnolls to inspect it. Seeing if it would indeed be a valuable product to have. The vassal of the Lords of the Fourth layer looked on jealously as the Pitfiend struck a deal with the Old Gnolls. Tasting the memories the old gnoll offered.

It spreads it's arms and wings alike wide."AMBROSIA!" It bellowed out, almost boisterous in tone. "The deal is... Fair."

The jubilant Pitfiend leaned down to murmur to the Erinyes before tapping the orb with one claw. Slowly, Na'karia's restraints began to release, one by one.
"Skorlan. The deal is set. You are henceforth mine. The mortal tiefling is released, though.. It is only right of me to make you aware that others here are.. Not.. Beholden to honor my deal."

The words echoed in her mind as she realized what the Pitfiend had said, there was still one being in the area who posed a threat to the Tiefling.

"EXCUSE me. I wish to stake a claim to the tiefling! I would have won the bid anyway!"

The Overweight Paeliryon Devil shouted.

The flames surrounded Skorlan faded and instead swirled onto Na'karia. The ground beneath them erupted into a fiery gate. Just as the two began to sink into it, the Pitfiend's claws managed to swipe across the Elderly Shaman's shoulder. As the gate back to Toril opened, the Paeliryon Devil rushed towards the gate with it's Minions in tow. She had been in the stasis of agony for what felt like aeons in that horrid layer of the Hells. As she and Skorlan rapidly traversed through the fiery gates that he had opened, it was clearly visible upon him that he was swiftly fading. Scattered pieces of bone fell alongside them from the ashen plains upon which they had previously stood. Far back into the portal gateway, she could notice that the Pitfiend and his guards had not given chase. Though something else had. Suddenly, the world felt rather cool and easy to breathe. She fell through a great night sky over beautiful green fields, hurtling down alongside the Shaman that was unresponsive. As the ground swiftly came closer and closer, darkness would soon take hold of her senses once more. She would vaguely feel some sort of impact, though no pain. Na'karia awakens in the midst of something that could only be described as a crater, prone amidst some scattered bones and blackened gnoll skull. She looked around for a moment, noticing no pain through her body but soon looks at the gnoll skull. Sadness crosses her face as she falls to her knees to gently pick it up and hold it in her hands. As she picks the skull up, most of it crumbles into ash. A lone jawbone remains.

Tears slowly fall down her cheeks as she holds onto the jawbone a little tighter. She tries her best to keep her composure but even this, after everything she had endured in the hells. "...I'll do better Skorlan...I'll be better...I swear it."

Wanderers about the Uldoon Trail find their stargazing interrupted by a celestial phenomena. A small tear rips through the night sky, spewing out brimstone and various small figures that hurtle down towards the idyllic fields. Locals stay far away from where they might assume the point of impact to be.

The tribulations of her mind made it difficult for her mind to even allow her to recall the worst of what she had been faced with in the Hells. A mere moment attempted to recall it would cause her to feel like her very soul was sinking. Distant stomping footsteps were rushing ever closer as she held her head, then thought it best to not think of things. But she soon got to her feet when she heard footsteps stomping towards her. Panic rushing through her. Was it the Paeliryon Devil that had staked a claim for her? Had it reached her just to drag her back to the Hells or suck her soul into the strange Bag of souls it had? No, instead it was the Gnoll Gor'Tek. Reliefe to see the familiar gnoll washed through her for a short moment but when he asked about the Old Shaman, Na'KAria couldn't hold back her tears or the pain as she showed the gnoll the blackened jawbone. Dejected, the gnoll was not expecting this, but it soon grew on edge and looked around. Clearly it hadn't gone unnoticed when she fell from the sky in the night. Adventures came to investigate what had happened, many were surprised or confused by the Tiefling and Gnoll standing near one another. Questions started going, one after the other. Many looking to get rid of Gor'Tek, some wanting to know what was happening. Howling otherworldly shrieks rang out in rage across the eastern hills. Fire Devils from Phlegethos came, they each rushed down towards them, though seemingly charging right for Na'karia. A battle ensued where the adventures fought the Devils until the last one fell. Weary, drained, and hardly able to remain on her feet, Na'Karia asked Gor'tek for help, to lean on the gnolls shoulder. Instead she was picked up by the Gnoll, she weakly told those who wanted answers that she would explain things later. From there, Na'Karia was carried by Gor'tek to the Gnoll camp in the Snakewoods.

She had fallen asleep just about as soon as she had hit the bedroll. Unwelcome dreams, snippets of her time in the Hells flashed in her mind throughout in a manner most regrettably vivid. When she finally came to, It was to a sight familiar. Skorlan's old section of the Tribe's caves. She groans holding her head as she sits up from the night terrors. Taking a moment to look around as she crawls out of the bed roll. The familiar gnoll figure stood staring towards the entrance, warily. He appeared to not have noticed her awakening. When she spoke the gnoll turned to her, telling her of the Leader Rhulg who attempted to get answers out of the Tiefling while she was out for three days. Gor'tek took it on himself to guard her as she rested, tellingher of how the tribe was divided instead of being whole. Na'Karia had a feeling that Rhulg would be this way, and figured now was the best time to let the Colossal Gnoll of what happened. She asked Gor'tek if she could go speak to him, to which the Gnoll lead the way for her. Outside the cave where she had been, the Gnolls of the circled by a large pyre. Throughthe flames, Na'Karia gazed upon Rhulg, bowing her head to him out of respect, but what she was met with was hostility. The conversation between tiefling and burning gnoll was heated. Discontent of the gnolls around them was clear and vocalized as the two bared their Fangs. Then something stood out about Rhulg.

It was theatrics. He did not care at all about Skorlan's departure or even death. He was clearly trying to play the Tribe to eject her and Gor'tek or simply seek a simple path to have them both killed. Despite the flaming nature of his eyes, Na'karia could not feel warmth or even hate within them. There was something else entirely. Hunger. She watched Rhulg for a long time before she spoke "You don't actually care that Skorlan is gone. There's no warmth in your eyes not even hate. There's only Hunger in them. A hunger to see Gor'Tek and I either ejected from here...or killed. This is all Theatrics."

The conversation between Gnoll and Tiefling became more heated, the tribe split more as Na'Karia raised her voice and concerns for what was coming. Yet Rhulg did not budge from his stance on wanting to end Na'Karias life. Enraged by what was being said, how the tribe was splitting and how Na'Karia did not take her gaze off the Gnoll. Rhulg looked to Na'Karia with Utter hatred. Na'Karia called Rhulg out on how he didn't deserve the Blades Kossuth blessed, how he had stolen them from Skorlan before the old Shaman could fully unbind them from his soul. Na'Karia even declaired to Rhulg tha tshe would be the one who would take those blades back from the Gnolls hands. Gor'tek placed a claw on the tieflings shoulder and urged her back, she did not fight him but she kept her gaze on the Gnoll before her. A declaration was soon made, the tribe not divided in two and those loyal to Rhulg remained. While those who sided with Gor'tek and Na'Karia left the camp to find a new home. However it was soon brought to Na'Karias attention tht the Gnoll cubs the gnoll Kres'kjal was worried for them. Na'Karia offered to go and get them out of the camp, the Gnoll hunter Viczhnit told of a secret path that Skorlan had when he didn't want to walk by Rhulg and showed Na'Karia where it was. Back inside the cave, Na'Karia looked for the cubs, seeing that what had happened outside had yet to reach the ears of the other gnolls that stayed inside the cave. Na'Karia took this advantage and treated the Gnolls like one would for any kids. Turning their escape out into a game where even the reluctant ones who were wary of the outside, agreed to follow. Once they were out, she told the cubs that if they could find Kres'kjal, they could climb all over the large Gnoll. Many were eager to get to her first and ran towards the tribe. Victszhnit had waited and stayed back to cover their tracks.

With the splintered tribe now away from Rhulgs forces, Na'Karia and the Gnolls who sides with her and Gor'tek made their way to the Temple to Kossuth in Gullykin. Inside Na'Karia asked if there was any place where the Gnolls could hole up for a short time. The Priest of the Kossuth looked at her, asked if she was insane for this, but didn't refute her. Instead he asked to examine the gnolls at a later date to make sure they they were indeed followers of The Flamelord. He also mentioned of a cove nearby that the Gnolls could use as a place to lay low for a time. Na'Karia thanked the priest and said that if he needed help, she would gladly be of service. Soon after she left and relayed what the priest told her to the Gnolls. On that day she watched the tribe of gnolls who sided with her head off, knowing that War would not be on the Horizon for them and herself. She was still wary of the Paeliryon Devil Vassal to Belial and Fierna that had chased her into the Prime Material, but one problem at a time was her best option.

From that day on, Na'Karia took time to herself. To find ways to heal her own mind, to coup with what had happened in the hells. The voices in her mind that had once been silent now spoke more and in numbers. Each different than the few she heard as a child, each speaking a part of her inner or deeper thoughts. She started to speak to others more, to form bonds. One such bond with another Tiefling became something even she did not expect. As much as she tried to build up walls to block out the memories, part of her wanted to remember. Knowing that she would not be able to move past it until she fully did so. The voices in her mind, the ones that had always been with her since she was a child, echoed more and more. Speaking her thoughts and feelings, though some days those voices turned hostile and showed her flash backs of the hells. Her vision changed as hallucinations played out. Knowing that she needed to find a space away from others when this happened, Na'Karia would swiftly leave places full of people before she let the vision play out. Looking for ways to banish them on her own, to ground herself back in reality rather than let the illusions take hold completely. She would recall things that were real to her. What felt real, what sounded real. The weight of her footfalls, the feeling of her weapon in her hand, The smell of the forest around her. But there were days where even grounding herself wouldn't work and she simply had to let the illusions run their course before they vanished. Slowly over the course of months after the events, she started to become stable. The visions still happen, the voices in her mind still speak from time to time, and a bond made slowly grew to attraction.

She was not expecting it herself, she had wanted to close herself off to the idea of romance again. Yet one made her reconsider that choice as the flame of mutual and organic care formed. The tiefling who made her feel seen and safe, was none other than a Wandering soul, and the Luckiest man on the Coast. Time went on as the two would stand beside one another, talking of things and events that happened in their lives. How they slowly realized that there were uncanny similarities between them. How he made her feel, was enough to make her forget that the Hells had their claws in her for a time. That the pain of the torture and the memories of it were even there. True the two had simply been flirting with one another for a while, but she didn't deny that there was an attraction to the man who told her she had been dangerously reckless for defending a Gnoll on the day she came back to the hells. Still, she found comfort in his presence, a peace she longed for and a satisfaction that even if she deemed herself broken there would be someone who found beauty in her broken pieces. It didn't help either that the voices were teasing her either from time to time. As if her own heart and mind were tag teaming against her to just admit what it was she felt. In her silence when no other ears were about to hear it, she would. However, Na'Karia knew that it would be sometime before she could fully commit to the relationship. She knew the Paeliryon Devil was still after her, that the Colossal Gnoll Rhulg was going to hunt her and her Gnoll allies down. Much as she would have enjoyed the distraction of a Relationship, she could not affored to turn a blind eye on that which was coming for her. She could not ignore the threat that looms over her. Yet, she was thankful that her interest had gone off to wander the road like he does, she would remain loyal and wait for his return. Her only hope was that she survived to tell him of the tale so it can be made into a Song later.

Having been under an affliction caused by Spores that had been expelled from a patch of Abyssal Black grass as it burned, Na'Karia suffered from the weakness and Vivid nightmares it brought her. With her mind being addled enough to forget what was real or who was really near her, the Tiefling followed a line of thinking while in her isolation in the Temple to Kossuth. This line of thinking lead her to Burning herself alive in Azure Flames. The flames bit and torn into her, even her natural resistance to the Flames did nothing to help. But it needed to be done in her Zealous mind. To burn out the affliction that was in her body, to cleanses the Abyssal taint from her being. A thought that reminded her of what could have happened when she was younger. Regardlss of the pain it brought her she endured while praying to her god to be cleansed. Her devotion or perhaps it was sheer stubborness, made her survive even when she had looked upon the threshold of death. She endured and it paid off. Once the flames had subsided, Na'Karia had been cleansed of the Abyssal taint. Now she recovers her strength after using a regen spell to replace the charred skin the flames left her with. In time, the Favored of Kossuth would get back to her routines and be present again...even if she had lost her hair and it was growing back at an...interesting rate.

Future

Na'Karia seeks to reclaim the Blades Kossuth blessed from the large Gnoll Rhulg. Despite knowing that if she were to hold them, they would cause her harm. she does understand that the Blades were soul bound to Skorlan and that if anyone other than him were to hold the blades, the blades themselves would burn the unworthy from the inside out. Much like how they are doing to Rhulg. Yet she does not seek the Blades so she might use them, she seeks them to house them in the Temple to Kossuth and treat them like Relics of her Lord.

It is known that Na'Karia desires to move up in ranks within the Kossuthan faith but maintain a sense of humility rather than take on an over zealous stance like Higher rank Kossuthans do. She doesn't believe her rank should reflect how she treats others. Much like the non-bias aspect of fire, she would rather be a warming comfort to others for conversations and a fierce torrent of consuming flames to her enemies on the battlefield. On top of this she seeks to renovate or even build a new temple to the Flamelord (//one that is more fitting to the lore).

Heirloom item

- A hand carved wooden Horse
- A gift from Telash so that Na'Karia knows where part of human heritage comes from. The wood is one that is commonly found in the Wandering Wastes. Something relevant to Tuigan Tribes. The horse seems to be carved with a Jacinth gem and Amathyst carved to perfectly fit together in a sort of spiral shape.

- A worn tarnished Amulet of Kossuth
- This Amulet once belonged to Telash, the woman who adopted and raised Na'Karia. Telling her tales of Kossuths faith and all that she'd need to know about it.

- A locket with a picture of Telash, Young Na'Karia and Young Thrand in it.
- The three seem to look very happy.

Plot hooks

- A House of Lies
  • Members of the Noble Thayan House Dasselath, seek out Na'Karia. Claiming her to be the Long lost heir to her Fathers research and the Key to their prosperity. All that they ask is for her to aid them in the final preparations and to complete her Fathers Research. However, not all is at it seems.

- Tempered Flame
  • Higher member of the Kossuthan faith seek out Na'Karia to test her resolve and determination. Should she fail, she will be excommunicated.

- Into the Flames we leap
  • Na'Karia is summoned by a representative from the City of Brass's Efreeti Sultan. Apparently there has been a relic of importance that was miraculously stolen from the Sultans treasury and found its way into the Prime Material. She is to retrieve it, but getting it back might be easier said than done.

//A playlist for this character because I had a irl DM friend ask me to make one for a different character of mine. This was pure "heck it, why not". Warning: It's long.

//small updates to the Physical look for Na'Karia and added some stuff to the end of her bio cause of events. Bio Image is end result of regrown hair. IG she's bald/ wears a wig. Give it a month or so, the lushous locks of red will be back...or so I tell myself. Now if only there was a head ig that was missing a horn or had a broken horn.

//Once more updated the Image. This time actually tried my hand at drawing in the burn scars...and making the lost horn more uh...not just cloned background via lazy habits.

//Gone and done it this time I'm sure. BUT! Cosmetic updates to how Na'Karia looks and what her burns actually look like (I was never told how they were suppose to look like and just that her tail has a long deep scar. So yes everything else is all me. The Tail is DM Faith.) Yes I know they more elaborate now and cover more of her body. Least they look like flame tendrils...least that was the idea. Fixed her portrait burns too. Since I didn't notice that I:
1.) Forgot to burn her right ear a bit and reduced the size some (She didn't lose her honor and she's not hunting the Avatar here.)
2.) Tried my best to match the burns to the diagram.
