I have a 30th level Duerger. He ventured into a dungeon with Greater Reapers... The first action they typically cast is paralysis. Unfortunately, my Duergar was held in place for the duration of the spell. While it did not result in his demises, it was totally unanticipated. Conversely, my Drow Monk was able to operate without impact using Freedom of Movement.
Can we please relook the Immunity to Paralysis: Duergar cannot be paralyzed racial feat?
Cheers!

It's been a while since this was posted. Has it happened since?
Some spells look like paralysis, or create the same outcome, while being entirely different. I.e. Silophism will effectively paralyze the target, while being a mind-affecting spell. Other spells, typically those that deal Sonic damage can afflict Stun, which is a similar effect to paralysis.
