Druid Forms Crashing People

This bug first appeared a long while back (several months). Several of us sent in crash logs about it.
Essentially, the issue is that druid forms (I have tested a few, but not all) crash people when they are in the same area, as well as prevent the druid from transitioning into an area, as they crash. Upon successful entry into an area, I can then shape shift, but others coming into the area with me shifted crash to desktop.
I have not tested every druid form. I have tested forms in the magical beast wildshape, and the regular wildshape.

Dae fixed this issue some months ago. Strange that it’s back, unless his fixed code was overridden in some recent update.

This happened a few weeks back as well. I had assumed at that point it hadn't been fixed yet. It happened when people were trying to get into the Green Enclave's grove. As long as I was shifted, no one could get in.

I'm not sure if this makes any difference, but I was already in the area JAG tried to transition into and crashed because of it. This happened in every test he did.

Are the players who are crashing in a Party with your shaped Druid when the crash occurs? What happens to a player when not?

She was not in party, and was in the Lion's Way. I tried to enter while shifted as a Winter Wolf, from the Cloakwoods. It crashed us both. We then replicated this with me as a regular wolf, and it crashed us both.
Edited to add: Previously, when no one could enter the druid's grove while I was shifted, none of them were in the party.

Do you have any of the crash dump files? NWN2 with Skywings keeps a repository.
I currently play a Druid and use Wildshape all the time, but have not seen or heard of any crashes related.
But I also do not use wolf or Magical Beast shapes. Though I doubt it is those forms only related.
Is there another player with those Druid forms on a Druid build that could try and replicate the crashing with this “she” player you mentioned?
Because small chance it’s something with your specific Druid PC, bic or item in your inventory that causes it.

I had previously sent my crash dump in, when the situation was previously noted, but I can send another. I had thought it might be specific to Winter Wolf (in magical beast), and that is why I tested it with a regular wolf (regular wildshape) to see if it was. I can check to see who else might be able to try and replicate it.
Just a couple of thoughts to add, that may help? JustAnotherGirl and I both play on the same router. I do not think this is the cause though, as it also crashed other players who were not on the same router. As for the bic being the cause, my toon does have an edited bic to put his height at 1.15. I don't know if that would cause any issues or not. I'm about to log in to try some other shapes, and will post my findings (and also possibly get some crash dumps).

I believe I isolated the variable and figured it out.
Tests performed:
Prior Test 1:
Winter Wolf (Magical Beast), transitioning from Cloakwoods to Lion's Way
Crashed to Desktop
JustAnotherGirl crashed to desktop
Prior Test 2:
Wolf (Wildshape), transition from Cloakwoods to Lion's Way
Crashed to Desktop
JustAnotherGirl crashed to desktop
Test 1:
Winter Wolf (Magical Beast), transitioning from FAI to Cloakwoods
Crashed to desktop
Test 2:
Worg (Magical Beast), transitioning from Cloakwoods to FAI
Crashed to Desktop
Test 3:
Legendary Ape (Legendary Beast), transitioning from FAI to Cloakwoods
Did not crash
Test 4:
Legendary Ape (Legendary Beast), transitioning from Cloakwoods to Lion's Way
Did not crash
Test 5:
Legendary Wolf (Legendary Beast), transitioning from Lion's Way to Cloakwoods
Crashed to desktop
Test 6:
After noticing that the ape had the jewelry on, I took the jewelry off.
Winter Wolf (Magical Beast), transitioning from Cloakwoods to FAI
Did not crash
Test 7:
Legendary Tiger (Legendary Beast), transitioning from FAI to Cloakwoods
Did not crash
It seems that the jewelry being on is the issue. Without the jewelry, I was able to transition just fine while shifted. As stated in the tests, I noticed that the ape kept the jewelry on, and did not crash, but any form that did not show the jewelry crashed. Once the jewelry was removed, the forms worked fine.

That would explain why my QC character had such a spotty record for reproducing the bug back in the day...

I had posted something about this a few years ago where SEFs attached to bones on critters that no longer have those bones or of a different name, will end up getting CtDs. This includes some spells with SEFs that do the same. Jewelry are SEFs.
