Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I've got Spellpower I and Mastery of Shaping on an Archmage. When I rest, my 5th spell level (what Spellpower I is supposed to take from) goes untouched and instead my 6th and 7th spell levels are taken from instead.

The flavour text in the combat log says that 5th and 6th are sacrificed, but my spells per day tells me that 6th and 7th are sacrificed.

Strange. Is this on a sorcerer? I don't know if that makes a difference, but at least on my wizard, it says "You've sacrificed a circle 5 spell slot" and "You've sacrificed a circle 7 spell slot", and I can confirm it does that (in my case Arc of Lightning and Avasculate respectively, as I think it still sacrifices alphabetically).

For me this is Spell Power 1 and 2.

Here's a brief run-down above ^^

For the alphabetical side of things... does it? I slotted 2x True Seeing (Extended), and 4x Acid Storm (Empowered). When I rest, I end up with 1x True Seeing and 4x Acid Storm.

At 6, I slotted 2x Lesser Mind Blank (Extended) and 5x Entomb. When I rest, I end up with 1x Lesser Mind Blank and 5x Entomb.

It certainly SEEMS like it just takes the first slot it can, though Steve also said it was alphabetical on discord. Which leaves me confused about that too.

Hawke suggested on discord because Entomb (and this would be the same with Acid Storm) is a custom spell, AM might not be recognizing it.

I slotted 3 spells at 6th level. Entomb, then Lesser Mind Blank (extended), then Create Undead.

The expected result would be that just create undead is sacrificed.

No, both Create Undead and Lesser Mind Blank were sacrificed.

My 7th level slots remained untouched this time.

I thought what might be happening, is AM isn't recognizing Deez or Wall of Fire (though wall of fire is vanilla, so I have no clue why that would happen) and is sacrificing higher level spells instead. Though in my previous example, it should have sacrificed both Lesser Mind Blanks, but it only did 1. So clearly that isn't happening either.

Ok, what is happening might be this:

At 5th, I extended Deez and Wall of Fire. Both are being recognized as 4th level "slots", so both are not being eaten.

At 6th, I had an extended mind blank. Which is not a custom spell, and is being read as a 5th level. So, consumed.

At 7th, I had an extended true seeing. Which is being read as a 6th level spell. So, consumed.

That's probably it.
