Yeah it's been this way for as long as I can recall. I don't know why it is this way or of it's a bug or intended. Would need Goat to answer.

Yeah, that'll be good. I don't see how it could possibly be intended for a feat to not function on the vast majority of spells it is supposed to function on xD It would be a bit like disarm only being able to disarm bastard swords, quarterstaffs, warmaces, and light flails.

I'm not really sure it's been raised to Goat. I think the original intent was to limit the feat to certain spells but that documentation trail seems quite lacking.

That could have been the original intent when it was released - though just like Mastery of Shaping (and how it was changed to work properly), that probably isn't really the case anymore. Heck, that might not even have been the original intent - if it was intentional, I'd expect the player would be informed. And it would look pretty silly if it was a giant list of "stuff this feat should work on but doesn't". Plus there's no rhyme or reason for the spells it works and doesn't work on - they appear to simply be random.

When AM was released (when the big Rasael patch was really), a LOT of the new features were buggy and half done (it seems like we are still fixing them - they are great and VERY appreciated, but they were not without issues). It could very well be that this is just that; I'd honestly place bets on it just being incomplete, without knowing much else. I remember stuff like whirlpool would summon something like 16 water elementals. Or the sneak attack feats that are still pretty janky (or appraise, which we had to turn off just recently because of its jank).

Anyway - regardless of reason... with any luck, this can be brought up to Goat - because really, it *should* be fixed imo.

Mastery of Elements was one of the Archmage’s feats that worked flawlessly from the very start. All elemental spells — such as Orbs, Ice Darts, Ice Storm, and Flame Arrow — functioned as intended. Something must have changed over the past three or more years

Thanks for the heads up we'll definitely be looking into the issues. Also, I have to say, your use of the Unicode apostrophe and em dash is really nice. Do you use a particular editor or setup that makes that easy? I don't have a convenient way to type em/en dashes or similar directly into the forums.

Elemental Mastery works on Flame Arrow as well — I suppose there isn’t a list of spells that benefit from Elemental Mastery?

I'll add it to the above list. I'm making it as I play, but if anyone else reports then I'll add it too. First list is spells that don't work, second list is spells that do work.
