An older wizardly gentlemen with scraggily beard is asking around the merchant courtyard of the Friendly Arm Inn about procuring a Blue Diamond.

Word reaches the ears of one named Vaughn, whom seldom frequented the Friendly Arm, but the whispers of tales and rumors have their way of spreading like wildfire in the wind. Within the same day, a courier is sent to the Friendly Arm, specifically to the old mage, with a letter:
Dear Sir,
As luck would have it, you need not seek one blue diamond any further, for I have one available. Write me back and make me a fair offer, and the rare gem shall be yours within the tenday. My name is Vaughn, and I frequently stay in Soubar.

This older wizard was seen recently walking by, not talking anymore about acquiring a diamond of great blue hue, as he visited the merchants with interest to barter.
