Physical description:
Cassie is a short young woman with long hair kept in braids and ties so that it keeps out of the way and doesn't prove bothersome among her long and curved horns. She has round, prominent eyes that usually keep an inquisitive and curious glint wherever she gazes. Her physique is common of one who veers more towards the less labour intensive life styles with a slim and soft build yet is kept moderately healthy without delving into too much pleasures.
She keeps her attire colourful with mismatched colours and patterns. Short sleeves and short skirt so that her movement would not be hindered by long or many bolts of material or cloth. When traveling however she will wear a cloak around her person in order to not be as noticeable. The usual tiefling tail pokes through openings, usually curled or kept resting near a leg.
To the public eye she has no birthmarks, scars or other physical alterations yet beneath what is covered with clothing and other garments, who knows?
When traveling she keeps a well packed and fortified traveling bags. On her hip attached to her belt would be a small, decent quality leather bound book alongside a couple of pouches made of similar quality leather.
Psychological description:
Cassie is an introspective and quiet person who's heart burns with a passion for knowledge and the pursuit of magical mastery. She is oftentimes found among piles of books, tomes and scrolls within libraries and stores.
Usually she keeps soft of voice and reserved during social situations, Cassie becomes noticeably inquisitive and more animated in how she acts when a topic sparks her interest. Her natural curiosity often overrides her shyness in these moments with her asking detailed and at times, overly specific questions in her quest to understand whatever it is that sparked her mind into focus. This side of her can develop a firm intensity when she's close to uncovering an unknown fact or magical secret.
During most situations Cassie holds a composed and cool temperament preferring thought out process over impulsive reactions.
When stressed or pressed during social situations and caught when not emotionally prepared, her stutter may worsen and she'd start to fiddle with things in her hands, usually a bracelet or random knickknack upon her person.

The Aspiring Mages Travels:
After leaving her place of birth, Cassie ventured out and onto the road to see where it would take her in this new path in life.
Traveling by road and occasionally hitching rides with merchants passing by, Cassie traveled light aside from an extra book or two.
The first roads of water and land were rough and not too pleasant, nor with any proper scope or opportunity for study.
Moving from dirt to countryside then woods and river, she traveled with a band of hired folk who were persuaded with the little coin she had to take her along with the person who hired them, onto the first actual main road she's seen. After stepping on this they traveled north up to Luskan.
From the chirping of seagulls to the smell of salt in the air and the bustling of busy folk out and around the city, Cassie felt overcome with new experiences and a decent amount of anxiety. Moving quickly she acquired a small and cheap room at some random Inn within a side alleyway. From here she worked on gaining more coin through simple work of helping at the inn before she managed to befriend a merchant who took her on to help with menial book work. After noticing her proficiency with such a genre of work, this merchant utilized her more to make him even more coin via skimping on taxes and other avenues of book-fixing for the ever legal merchant. Life in Luskan was far from perfect however. The constant fear of ruffians and the occasional scuffle of such or with thieves generally left Cassie always on edge and never leaving her belongings at her room. She did experience the occasional alleyway robbing.
Thankfully though she did not stay within such a bustling and chaotic city for long. The merchant who hired her moved off and south to conduct more profitable business elsewhere. The merchant took his caravan down the main road south and occasionally traded or sold things to passers by on the road. When reaching the city of Neverwinter, Cassie finally felt a modicum of joy. Library, Books, Scrolls and more were available in this more lawful city. This and safer, nicer holdings to hire from Inns and Taverns given the coin she's been making thus far. Within this city Cassie was finally able to dedicate some proper time to reading and study. From here she managed to find more stable work including some scribe work. Her days turned into study, work and study with the occasional moment of practice when secluded in her room or outside within woods or country side. Only once, twice or thrice does Cassie make a mistake which catches something within the inn on fire or threatens some other form of damage which brings unto her a great telling off from the Inn-keep, alongside a hefty fine that she sheepishly pays.
One can never stay in one place if they want to further their goals and thus Cassie moves back onto the road to continue her path in life. Walking down the high road with the occasional hopping on a passing caravan she manages to take a normal journey alongside the coast of Faerun. Moving from village to village or town and then a city or two she would repeat the process of finding work and then study material. If lucky Cassie'd manage to grab herself a useful mentor to learn from who would teach her in return for labour or assistance in their work and doings. She does not rush with her stays or travel, rather Cassie takes proper time in whatever she does and ensures she learns all that she can during the possible moment of her stay before moving on. Of course there's always more things to learn yet they may be gated from her for one reason or another, and thus she will return when those gates open one day, or for her to open them herself.
Arriving to Baldurs Gate:
With the occasional detour off the road every so often Cassie would eventually return back to the main western road, traveling down it until it comes to an end at Scornubel of which she hires passage on a river barge that transports goods and people up and down the water road. This is where she was unable to dodge some physical labour for all passengers, especially on the smaller barges would end up having to help out in the end dependent on weather and or situation. Cassie definitely felt relief once she ended up at the city of Baldur's Gate. Done with the barge work or travel, the weird hardships of living incredibly close and personal with others. She worked swiftly at finding accommodation using her savings before peering out at work and study opportunities.
Future:
The vision for her future is one filled with bountiful knowledge and magical practice and prowess. Within this city and the lands around Cassie wants to learn as much as possible and wishes to take into full capacity the wells that reside within the city and neighbouring places like Candlekeep and more. Her two main goals are mastering magic as an aspiring mage as well as filling up on knowledge know-how as well as history.
