Appraise skill bug?

As the title says.
The notes on the wiki indicate a score above 25 will result in lower prices. Is this still the case? And is this a total score, or the amount of skill points assigned?
Or perhaps in short, is there an optimal appraise score for buying and/or selling?

The higher your Appraise—base plus buffed—will give your PC a better price.
It does max out though, I just don’t remember at how much.

Thanks for your reply Steve.
So the note is no longer true?
Note that the hard-coded MarkUp/MarkDown function is bugged, resulting in WORSE "Sell to store" prices if the player's Appraise is too high (in general, once the player's Appraise skill reaches 25, she will get less money for items sold to most merchants). The greater the difference between Markup<->Markdown becomes the less money you get for selling items to store (buying items from stores is not affected by this bug).

All i know is every 10 points can make a difference depending on the roll. And 70 is pretty much as high as you can get it up too to include gear, feats, skills etc.

I once made a ridiculous build on this server that reached over 100 appraise (102 I believe, to be exact). However, I didn't actually check the impact on prices it had, as I didn't quite know how to check that at that moment.

Around the 70's is when the value starts falling off.
