Important Announcement: Actions Taken Against Exploitative Behavior

Good evening BGTSCC.

This is an unfortunate announcement to have to make ahead of the upcoming roadmap for 2026, but it needs to be said. I would like to take this opportunity to remind players that knowingly making use of exploits - especially those that give you an advantage over other players or obtained through illegal means - is a bannable offense - often permanent - and can result in a wipe of your character and vault. Over the past few days and a deep review of past and present character vaults, it has become apparent that a few players have decidedly and knowingly act against this ruling. In the interest of transparency these players have now been banned - whom should be ashamed and know better.

We as a team are incredibly disappointed and find no joy in having to handle this situation, and while it was not a pleasant task, the matter has now been handled.

With this warning, I will make it clear: if you are given unobtainable items by another person regardless of who they are, you are required to report them. If a player attempts to instruct you in ways to cheat, hack, modify or otherwise engage in exploitative activity, you are required to report them. Finally, if you are found to be making use of game exploits or in possession of illegal items (including but not limited to: weightless containers, items with inflated stats, creature skins, etc), you will be banned. Do not do it.

If you see someone else making use of an illegal item or exploit, please report. It is not worth the risk of being associated with an exploiter in any means and can get you in trouble. It is not worth the risk!

A final and unrelated note: Grandfather items have been and are illegal, this has been previous mentioned but I will be firm about it and will be checking in the near future. Please speak to a DM about it if you do have any grandfathered items - and if you aren't sure or are worried, please ask and we will help/check/confirm/adjust.
